The taste: You either love it or you hate it………….. I know you’ve heard that before but twiglets are the same, possibly because they are made of the stuff, yes twiglets are coated with a marmite covering! I have some mates who despise twiglets but I also have a few who absolutely adore them, like myself. The taste is indescribable, once the packet is opened (no matter what size) it has to be eaten. Twiglets are oven baked and are roughly 88% fat free so all you people on a diet out there, don’t hold back!
The ingredients: Wholemeal, Yeast extract Vegetable oil Hydrogenated vegetable oil Salt Cheese powder Pepper Emulsifier Soya lecithin
Other flavors include: Worcester Sauce Spicy Original (my favorite) The new Curry flavor
Uses: Twiglets can be served at a party in a bowl or purely for your own enjoyment in front of the television or for kids packed lunches. But beware, when served at parties keep some for yourself tucked away, they are very popular!
Price: Usually twiglets cost around £1.99 for a 200g tub, well worth two pounds in my mind, a cheap round in a way!
For more info: The Jacob's Bakery Limited, P.O Box 14, Liverpool, L9 7JX, England.
My Opinion: I think that this is a very tasty snack and compared to ther crisps it is a delight. I like other variaties but this has to have the best taste. This kind of food is more likely to tickle the tatse buds of younger party animals and an essentail to any good party!!
