Jacobs Twiglets

I have to say that I am a complete Marmite fan and try everything that has a Marmite flavour to it. These Jacobs Twiglets have a been a big favourite of mine since I was little and now I buy them for both Jack and myself and luckily Jack likes them as much as I do!

Twiglets can be bought in single packets of 25 grams, large packets to share of 150 grams or a multi pack containing 6 bags of 25grams. I bought my last multi pack from Tesco where they were on offer for £1 where as they would usually cost around £1.50 pence.

Twiglets get there name from the fact that when looking at these crisp like snacks they look just like tree twigs! Ingenious! They are a brown colour and this is where the Marmite flavour is held I guess. On opening the bag you can instantly smell the strong aroma coming from them and as Marmite is something that I really like then this smell is very appealing to me. However my other half doesn't like Marmite so he hates any smell like these Twiglets!

The Twiglets on eating are extremely crunchy and delicious. The flavour is strong but as a hardcore Marmite eater, I could have them stronger and still enjoy them.

Twiglets have been going for a long time and really it is no wonder when they are so tasty, good in price and relatively good for you. The packet of Twiglets states that the whole 25gram contains 41% of your wholegrain recommended daily allowance which is an added bonus alongside the fact that they are low in fat compared to regular crisps as there is only 96 calories per packet and 1.3 grams of saturated fat.

There are other reasons why you should choose Twiglets over crisps too. They contain no artificial colours or flavours and they are baked not fried plus they are high in fibre! So not only are they really tasty they are good for you too!

I would have to give these Jacobs Twiglets a very high recommendation and a 5 star rating. I love the strong Marmite taste and the crispy crunchy texture that the offer. The fact that they offer so many added reasons to buy them by being rather better than eating a regular packet of crisps.

Very tasty!

Many thanks for taking the time to read.

I do hope this has been of some help/interest to you.
