Excellent

Very enjoyable,subtle flavours.

Rather expensive.

Manufacturers Product description 'A deliciously refreshing blend of lightly sparkling Belgian cider and the concentrated juice of fruits of the forest, best served over ice'. Appearance As you can see from the picture the product is presented in a very grown up manner, quite unlike the companies...

Very refreshing and tasty

TOO refreshing and tasty !

To quote my 9yr old niece OMG !!! I bought myself a bottle of Jacques Cider with fruit the other day, purely because it was on offer in Tesco, selling for £2 for 750ml. The normal price is a wopping £3.92p for 750ml. The Tesco offer is on up until 07/09/2010, so if you can afford to stock up for...

Excellent

tastes nice and refreshingly fruity

Can be pricey

Having previously written a review on the fantastic Rekorderlig cider I got to sample over Christmas, I decided to review this 'trendy' drink that is currently doing the cider rounds. As I may have mentioned before, I am not normally an apple cider fan, preferring the sweeter and less tangy...

“Classy Cider!”

published 13/04/2010

Tastes amazing

Expensive compared to other brands

I must start by saying that I am not actually a massive fan of cider, having only previously drunk it with the intention of getting very drunk when I was about 15 and White Lightening was very cheap. However, having said that, last year one of my work colleagues introduced me Jacques fruit cider...

Having not been much for the Gaymers Pear Cider, I must have been on a mission to try different ones, however it had been recommended to me to try Strongbow Jacques with Fruit. Initially I wasn't reallt that keen on trying it as I never have any blackcurrant or anything like that in my cider, I...

“Jacques Fruit Cider”

published 07/01/2009

Stylish and very drinkable

Expensive

I must admit to being a bit of a fan of Jacques Cider - I love pear cider (the traditional stuff rather than the fizzy product in the supermarkets) but it's quite expensive and not very popular at parties. (The uninitiated fall over too quickly, spoiling the fun.) Jacques comes in a stylish...

Excellent

Fruity and Summery

Pricey for what you get.

What Jacques Cider Say:- Jacques Fruits Des Bois is a lightly sparkling fruit cider and is delicious over ice. At 5.5% ABV it is an ideal drink for occasions when you want something lighter. You can buy Jacques Fruits Des Bois in 750ml bottles making it perfect for sharing with friends. It is...

Satisfactory

published 26/06/2008

I started to buy Jacques fruit cider instead of lager at my local pub. At £4.50 I thought it rather expensive but it was very refreshing. I bought one at the local Toby carvery and was charged £5.99 . This was bad enough but I understand that it's £6.99 at the Hilton hotel. Yesterday my local saw their opportunity and put it up to £5.30. Now this lager is only 5% and hardly wine so how can they justify the price? It's back to lager for me . It's sheer greed and a rip off !!! My rating is poor because of the cost

I was excited to try this product as I like other strongbow drinks. It is a nice tasting cider however it was sweeter than I expected. This drink is certainly fruity and I would recommend it. However it is fairly expensive but it is worth it if you fancy something a bit different. Great for the summer!!
