Jaguar X-Type 2.0 Diesel

From the first test drive I felt at home and knew that this was the car for me. Although not quite as quick as the C220 it had more of a "driver appeal" and certainly handles a lot better. It is now 20mths and 50,000mls on and I still feel the same way. The servicing is every 12500 and as yet there have been no other visits to the Garage. Relibility has been excellant and I still cruise up and down the Motorway at above what I should be returning on average 44mpg !!!!. The engine levels are checked weekly but as yet I have not needed to put any oil or coolant in between services.When I first decided to write this review I thought that it would be easy but when you have enjoyed a car as much as this one you run out of things to say.The only negatives that I have with this car is possibly it could do with a bit more legroom in the back and no automatic option.My wife would probably add another in so much as the customary Sat morning wash often lasts all day as once you start you tend to carry on with polishing etc. Then you just take a couple of steps back and you reassuringly know why you spent the extra on a Jaguar. Would I buy another one ? without a shadow of a doubt.

Oh and there is one other REAL DISADVANTAGE .... All the family feel the same and I am running out of places to hide the keys !!!.
