Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy

Advantages: Great Gameplay, Funny Scenes
Disadvantages: Speechless Jak

Jak and Daxter...the FIRST game I can remember playing on my PS2. It was one of the most solid launch titles ever, and paved the path for 4 more Jak and Daxter games. Jak and Daxter featured 'Jak' the speechless main character. He doesn't utter one word the entire game. Then we have 'Daxter' his wickedly funny companion. Who gets turned into an ottsel in the opening scene. The story follows Jak and Daxter as they search out a sage who knows enough about Eco - that's the stuff that powers everything - to turn Daxter back into a human. Jak and Daxter is supported by Samus - a sage of green eco, which heals you. And Samus's daughter - she's the techie of the game. The gameplay is straight up platformer, the enviroments are massive, the graphics are sweet, and..then there's Daxter. Who continues to spout off one liners even when you're dead ...

Review of Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy (PS2)

New adventure with Jak and Daxter.

Advantages: Very funny scenes.
Disadvantages: A bit poor graphics.

Get ready for final adventure with Daxter and Jak in Spargus City metropolis. Like its predecessor, the gameplay of Jak 3 is a blend of platforming, driving, and gun combat, which is based on shooting and blasting off enemies. The graphics are good and sound is awesome! Before playing this game I recommend you to play older series (daxter, Jak - Combat Racing and Jak II), because you will not understand all history and many of characters in this game. To play this game you need to have a PS2 (PlayStation2) and to play Daxter - PSP (PlayStation Portable). Rating(s) ESRB: T (Teen) OFLC: G8+ PEGI: 12+ USK: 6 I think young players can also play this game. because there is no blood and violence here, except crashes, big booms and other things. Who is Jak? Jack is 18 years old dude, who best friend is Daxter. So I am telling ...

Review of Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy (PS2)

Daxter at his best

Advantages: Addictive, Fun for all the family, Daxter is funny
Disadvantages: Sometimes repetative and annoying

Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy released on 3ed December 2001 by Naughty Dog. Naughty Dog was also the creator of Crash Bandicoot and as I loved those games I thought I would give this one a go, and I'm glad I did! Set up The game is rated for everyone so the whole family is able to play. On the same note though it is a one player game. The game has a vibration function too which is a good feature for the game as it helps during play. If you are struggling with the game (or you're just impatient) then there is also a strategy guild available. You will need your PS2 (Durrrrrr), your game, controller and if you intend on playing the game through a memory card. Make sure there is enough memory on the card - if there isn't then the game will tell you early on to stop you having to repeat the story. Main Characters Jak - Has ...
