    ‘Back In The Days’ was published in 2002 and came out to coincide with the then-popular mini Old School revival when it came to Hip Hop. Much more prominent and clear in 2007-2010 era of the genre, this occurred again in a manner which interconnected both music and fashion and so gives this book even more of significance now than ever. After being foreworded by Fab Five Freddy, the book is composed of full-page photographs taken by the Brooklyn native Jamel Shabazz from 1980 to 1989.
