Jamie very nearly missed out on the Olypic team after finishing third in the trials. Having ran the fastest lap in the qualifying rounds he bombed out in the final. Jamie usually starts from the blocks running hell for leather. This leaves him with nothing left in the tank on the final straight and allows his opponents to catch and beat him. Jamie had a very good start to the season but he now is recording very slow times and one must wonder whether he'll reach the finals.
