Presentation and gameplay The graphics of the game are quite good, theyre nothign special but they certainly aren't bad. The game uses the likeness and voices of the main characters from the films which helps to immerse you further in the Bond experience. The characters also deliver classic lines from the film, so you feel as if you are part of the film. The game uses a first person/over-the-shoulder (when in cover) camera and this further increases the feel that you are actually in the film. Bond music is also played, and the sound in the game is very good. It is an action based shooter with very little puzzling or strategy involved, you play thorugh a level and any "find this" objectives are very easy as there is a compass that will direct you to the objective. However this does not make the game easy, the enemies are quite hard to defeat and are quite intelligent. They will attempt to flank you (which makes it very difficult to survive if there are many enemies) and I found the Agent (and 007) difficulties challenging in a good way as there were no incredibly frustrtatingly difficult moments, just a challenging game (I first played it on "Agent", yet the 4 difficulty levels means anyone can enjoy the game). The enemies also try and shoot you as they go down so skill is required in order to deliver a head shot to prevent this. One problem I did have with the enemies was that a lot of them looked the same, although the main characters are distinct the minions oftern seemed to look very similar, although not as bad as in "Uncharted", however this is only a very minor problem.
The cover system in this game is quite simply near-perfection. You find cover, you can look out to aim acurately or you can spray bullets out without aiming and hope to hit an enemy, obviously this decreases accuracy but also decreases the chance of you getting shot; this seems to be used in many shooters now and I find that it is a great cover method, maybe the only way to improve it would be to not be able to see around the corners unless you look, incerasing the risk, but the system used here is fun and useful. The enemies also seek cover and will "spray" instead of targetting sometimes too, so you have to be careful that there are no more enemies left behind cover, and can't go all gung-ho on them thinking that they must come out to shoot you, as they will spray bullets and present only a very small target.
There are loads of trophies to unlock, you unlock them for completing the game, for completing levels etc. (I did like the fact that by completing the game on agent you also unlock the trophies for the lower difficulty levels, which means you don't have to play through the game again to unlock trophies when you have already done this at a higher difficulty). There are also trophies for completing missions in a certain way or performing certain things, if you find all phones (which contain useful information on the mission) then you get a trophy, if you go thorugh the freight train using only the P99 you get a trophy, and this makes the game quite fun as these are oftern quite diffuclt to do.
The online mode is fun, there are the usual type of matches that you see in shooters, and I have found that play is generally lag free and there seems to be, even now, plenty of players online to play against.
Overall The game is entertaining, challenging and offers a decent online mode to increase the longevity. the special edition also has some nice extra features and you don't need to be a bond fan to enjoy the game. The graphics could be better, and it isn't groundbreaking stuff, but that didn't hamper my enjoyment of it
...directly takes the role of James Bond who in this game as well as in the film seeks revenge for the death of his lady love Vesper Lynd (Casino Royale) and the group to which she was working for and to reveal the secrets behind her. '''So this game itself plays just as you would expect it, as it is a high-octane action-adventure title that attempts to put you right in the role of James Bond himself'''.
The game, with how it is set up, really rewards ... ...their brains to think things out.
Bond characterisation, his attire, the weapons that he uses and all his gadgets are very good looking and perfrom well in-game too.
'''But here is not really much plot here though, as all of the action and levels move at a pace that really keeps the story from catching any foundation.'''
Still the game plays out very smoothly as the in-game controls are well assigned which makes gun firing and using other "Bond ...

Advantages: Great story, Graphics Disadvantages: Gameplay a little boring at times
== Bond, James Bond ==
Ever fancied yourself as the next 007? If yes this is a must buy for you. === Storyline ===
The story follows quite close to the actual film, but as if you were skipping the bits in the middle, as it fast forwards quite a lot. You play as bond (Of cause) and you must stop a man of evil from completing his evil deeds (you know the general Bond type game).
=== Gameplay ===
Gameplay is good, with most of the game being played ... ...against walls whilst being shot at, so don't expect any camera angles from inside walls. The puzzles for things like hacking doors and uploading viruses are far too easy, the door hacking is a button sequence type mini-game (yawn).
== Graphics ==
The graphics are decent, with everything looking and feeling right. Everything has had full detail put to it and looks pretty real, I suggest you play using HDMI.
== Online Experience ==
The online section ...

Advantages: good gameplay and graphics Disadvantages: very short campaign
hi
i think this game not as good as other games for a 1st person shooter but the campaign is very very short and each level is near enough the same. but the gameplay is brilliant and how it leads on to different parts of the missions, also it isnt just quantum of solace its also a join game with casino royal. i also think its a bit easy even on the hardest leval, but even taking that into accound it is still a truely amazing game. its one of them ... ...have compleated (witch wont be long) but it is good if you can get it at the right price witch i woul say £20 max price. If you can get it for less than £15 then its a must buy. I would rate this game about a 7/10, thanks ...

Advantages: Good sequel to the other games Disadvantages: Graphics, Longevity,
James Bond is a character that has been around for a long time and is well known to a large amount of people and many people had been looking forward to this game. This is quite different to other games that they have done as it follows the story slightly of the two films, Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace.
It is set in first person which many people see as a plus as the last game that was done as a 3rd person shooter was not as good. But it switches ... ...there are no driving missions which is one bit which is quite disappointing. There is a large range of missions which are not really in order but they do keep the story line going. The missions in general are quite long and allow you to patch into cameras, and unlock doors through codes, but sadly once you have done them once they not as good as they used to be. The online modes are good as it allows you to do many different modes against people ...
