Advantages Large range, friendly helpful assistants
Disadvantages very busy store for a mum with a pushchair
I visited James Thin Booksellers Wimbledon branch while out getting christmas presents. The store is quite big but is well signed and the assistants are very friendly and approachable. I could not find the book I required on the shelf so an assistant looked it up for me and double checked the correct section, as they had sold out I was asked if I would like to order it. I ordered the book and filled out an order form and the assistant told me as they were placing an order it would be ready for collection the following afternoon as long as the suppliers had it in stock.
Sure enough the next day the same assistant telephoned me to say the book was in.
The service was excellent, the assistant took the time to listen and went out of their way to help even suggesting alternatives if I was in a hurry. The range in the store was fabulous and as soon as I get time I will be off to buy some books!
