If you struggle with cooking or are curious about it, give this book a go. With the easy-to-read layout and with the pictures that accompany all the recipes, you will find it hard to go wrong. The step-by-step photographs that are alongside the recipes are useful for glancing at. This has been my favourite feature of the book alongside the wide variety of dishes therein. This book covers a wide range of cuisines, e.g. Indian, Moroccan, Chinese, and there is even a section on how to cook a roast dinner with all the trimmings - which has been very popular at univeristy.
The recipes in this book are easy enough to make and all bring something tasty to the table.
I also think that this book is good for all the students out there! I use it at university and haven't found myself out of pocket. It also teaches you very basic techniques that are useful in later life and also means that you are not simply living off frozen pizza or beans on toast. Some of the best sections in the book for quick and cheap meals are the pasta, stir fry, salad, mince and breakfast - a wife range so you will not find yourself eating the same thing night after night.
The only downside to the recipes herein is there aren't many that are suitable for vegans or vegetarians.
