I?m not a big perfume wearer, I often investigate new perfumes, but rarely find one I like, and there are just two perfumes which I like to keep in the house at all times. One is Rive Gauche and the other is Chanel No.5
Of these two, the Chanel is without a doubt my favourite. Evening or daytime, casual or formal Chanel No.5 works for me.
Chanel No.5 has been around for a long time. Coco Chanel (famous fashion designer of the 1920?s) introduced this perfume to the world in 1923. I use it, my mother uses it, and I recently found out that my Grandmother used it for many years until she died too. It is one of those timeless perfumes, and dress a girl in modern Jeans and Jacket, 1920?s flapper outfit or Victorian crinoline and I believe this perfume would not smell out of place.
