First of all if you didn't know already Jane Norman sells clothes and the like for females. I would say the target market is probably 16- 25, although some clothes would be suitable for 30+ easily. The shop is found in any british high street and shopping centre, with the prices being in the middle, not too expensive but definatley not cheap.
Walking into my local Jane Norman, the lighting is quite dim, and the colour scheme is all black sparkles, with plush changing rooms. The clothes are always neatly arranged on rails, with good window displays and shop displays. I would say that one of my favourite things about Jane Norman is the fact that it is always so neat and tidy, even the sale rail is put into sections.
Okay so onto the products themselves. Jane Norman sell every type of clothing there is, for me personally their dresses are the best thing. When I'm going out on the town and need something a little more special I head to Jane Norman. Their products are always on trend, often they have designer copies in really fast. Take for example the Herve Leger bandage dress, I wanted this SO bad and Jane Norman was the only place that did them when it came out.
They have a great selection of skirts, jeans, tops etc. and also do really cute purses and watches. I have a good few items and I have to say they have lasted without any wear and tear. The price is middle of the road, a skirt cost me £25 and dresses are about £40-£60. Definatley not cheap, but then again neither is the quality!
Not only that but the changing rooms are really nice. Plenty of hangers, good lighting with a full length mirror, and a nice red velvet curtain! There is always an attendant standing there ready to help and offer other sizes which is a plus. Also if you do decide to purchase something, then the queues aren't too bad and you get a really cute carrier bag that doesn't break!
HOWEVER you may notice I didn't give five stars, well there is a reason for that. I never really noticed the negative aspects until a friend and I were talking. Basically she is a size 16-18, and she was saying how she doesn't even bother going into Jane Norman as it is a 'skinny' shop. As a size 8 I don't have this problem but I can totally see that if you were curvier then yes, I never see anything above a 16 and to be totally honest I don't really see much in more than a 12. Not very good as a lot of woman are size 14+.
Another negative would be some of the tack- factor. Some of the clothes are the tackiest, cheapest looking things ever. Also Jane Norman has quite a 'Girly- cheap' thing going on. Some clothes= gorgeous, classy and sexy. However there are so many jeans with gross butterfly designs stitched on, little sparkly studs, and tops with hideously bright designs that wouldn't look out of place on a hooker. Ugggghh. You really have to sort the tacky stuff from the nice.
So to sum up I would award 4/5. I love this shop even though not everything about it is great. Thanks for reading!
Advantages: Good clothing/good quality/good prices/service with a smile Disadvantages: changing rooms quite small
...will nearly always go to Jane Norman.
---Accessability----
I find it very handy that they have an outlet in Debenhams, as there is a Debenhams department store very close to me - meaning I can shop at Jane Norman when ever I want to with out having to worry about transport.
There is also a Jane Norman just a car journey away from me in Kingston, so either way and a couple of large store near where I work in London -- so I would say , for me, these ... ...their level, I find that Jane Norman own brand jeans are very hard wearing.
Because it is likely that something will get spilt on my jeans in my line of work, I tend to just wash the same pair every couple of days.
My current pair have lasted a good six months and are still going strong.
I find them a good, comfortable fit and they don't always need a belt -, a good fit - not too tight (I am quite thin, so wary of wearing clothes which make me ...

INTRODUCTION
Jane Norman is a boutique like high street store for women. Their clothes seem to be aimed at young, reasonably slim women from teenagers to late twenties. The chain has been around since 1952 and at the time of me writing this there are 157 stores in England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales.
THE PRODUCTS
Jane Norman sells clothes, bags and accessories but does not sell shoes or underwear. Their style is formal, but with a ... ...to shop very often in Jane Norman as I used to find their clothes wouldn't last very long as the quality was below the standard I'd expect for the cost. However, more recently I have been drawn to their store and have bought some very nice things. In terms of pricing, the clothes seem to cost about the same as other similar high street stores aimed at the same age group, for example, Topshop & River Island. Their tops on average seem to cost about ...

For Starters Jane Norman to me as a teenager was always slightly too expensive and if you bought anything in there, you used the bag for your PE kit for at least a few weeks!! Now i'm older and earning, I realise that Jane Norman isn't drop dead designer, and is actually pretty affordable, and always up to date on trend. So as you can imagine, on this discovery I started popping in there every time I pass. You can actually commonly spot Jane ... ...Clothing Range I find Jane Norman a great place to go if you have a little party lurking round the corner and want something trendy and beautiful to wear. But apart from a great range of party wear they also design a lot of casual. Infact to name a few - * Tops - As the summer season is coming in Jane Norman has started doing a good range of casual tops which are great over jeans or shorts. All their designs are long in shape at the moment ...

Advantages: Clean shop Disadvantages: Rude staff, packed stores, no space to look
I first found Jane Norman when I was shopping in London! I found my experience at this shop satisfactortory. I found the shop rather over-crowded with stock and because of this there was NO space to move around and have a snoop through. At this visit I bought one pair of jeans and a dress both of which have been great products. The jeans are about the only thing I would be happy to buy from this shop. The experience that put me off though was after ... ...average products. I bought 2 wool type jumper dresses and a top. I went to wear the jumper dress the morning after I bought it and discovered a considerable hole in the front of the dress(which may I add had not been caused by me) we proceeded to go back to the shop. When we got there we were fobbed off with some lousy excuse about the jumper and that it would have to go to their 'factory' to be tested to see if it was MY fault or a fault in the ...

Designer chic Review ofJane Norman (Shop)by
drusilla
Advantages: Gorgeous clothes Disadvantages: Most clothes must be handwashed, expensive
Jane Norman is well known as the classiest women’s high street clothes shop out there. Although I suspect it’s aimed at young women in their twenties, it really caters for everyone. My mother is 43 and size 14/16, whereas I am 15 and size 10/12, but we can both find well fitting, trendy clothes here to suit us.
The majority of Jane Norman clothes are dressy going-out attire. You’ve got the sexy, the smart and the outrageous, depending on what occasion ... ...that you can often spot Jane Norman clothes from a mile away. I saw a similar top and dress this year, only they were light blue and had criss-cross backs.
A lot of the tops are made of the same flimsy, expensive-looking material made of over 80% polyester. Even the trousers (both wool and cotton based) feel really soft on your skin and I always feel assured of the quality when I try anything on.
The latest instalment to my wardrobe (called ‘High ...

...The Frenchgate Centre is the main shopping centre located in Doncaster. It was named after the street of the same name that has existed since medieval times.
Old Frenchgate
The centre has been the heart of the town for over 40 years and was originally called the Arndale Centre because it was built, owned and managed by the Arndale Group. It was re-named in 1988 after a change of ownership, with the new name reflecting the name of the street which passes to the east of the centre and which is one of Doncaster's main shopping streets.
New Frenchgate
The Frenchgate centre has been recently renovated and is much better than its old counterpart with lots more shops and a direct link to the train station. The new Frenchgate Interchange includes a large flagship Debenhams store plus new names such as JaneNorman, Next, Monsoon...

Advantages: Wondeful staff - lol Disadvantages: some find it pricy
....
Debenhams offers extras that other stores do not, such as a personal shopper service which is completely free and puts the customer under no obligation to buy, and a wedding gift service which lets you set a wedding list based on any items in the store and is constantly up dated so you don't get the same gift twice..
They have numerous concessions, as for example Lewises and Kendals do (or did in the case of Lewises on Market St which is no more), but there choice is much wider : it would not be unusual to find Top Shop, JaneNorman, Oasis, Kookai, Wilson, Dorma, Sheridan, Gateway and Thomas Cook all under one roof, along with much much more. Speaking of Thomas Cook, customers can use their store cards to book holidays at the in store branch which frees up credit on other cards for different things.
As for the cards, customers reciever 10...
