This was the first pushchair I bought for my little girl. We bought the Matirx lie-flat car seat with it because we travel a lot in the car. The Matrix turned out to be a fantastic buy. When she was little she slept better in the Matrix than anywhere else. It was great to be able to use it as a carrycot in the house although I wouldn't recommend using it at night because the matress is very thin. It isn't the easiest car seat to get in and out of ... ...then walk around the car to fit the other side not mush fun when it's raining! When attaching the Matrix to the chassis it could be a bit of a fiddle and in 8 months I never mastered the art and once managed to jam the Matrix on the chassis and thought I wasn't going to get it off. We used the Matrix for about 8 months even though my daughter is longer than average. In the end she didn't want to lie down in it anymore. Unfortunately the matrix did ...

Advantages: Looks, ability to lie flat, manoverability, lift in and out of car with sleeping baby Disadvantages: shopping basket too small, very large, having to buy all of the extras
...did not originally buy a Jane Powertrack 360. I did countless hours of research on the internet to find the perfect pram, and decided the Powertrack 360 was for me, but my husband saw the price tag and swallowed his teath, so we ended up getting a cheaper model instead. However, after a couple of weeks, it became appearent that the pram was not working, primarily because infants should not stay in a conventional car seat for more than two hours, ... ...whenever we went out, I was constantly looking at my watch, seeing if we had to go home yet, so we could take our son ot of the car seat. Also, it meant that we had to hold him all of the time when at home, as there was nowhere for him to sleep downstairs with us during the day (he had a psychic ability which allowed him to awaken every time my foot hit the bottom step of the stairs to take him upstairs to put him in his cot). So, I ended up buying ...

Advantages: Great all terrain pushchair Disadvantages: Poor quality accessories
...baby.
I found the Jane Powertrack 360 online and read a lot of good reviews about it, but I was not really happy to buy such a big purchase online without seeing it for myself. I contacted the Glasgow Pram Centre who gave me the name and address of my nearest Jane seller and I paid them a visit.
I went a small local baby store called Baby Business in Heswall on the Wirral to look at the pushchair. The guy who owned the shop was incredibly helpful ... ...around in town.
- The Jane can be used from birth. There is an option to buy a carrycot for it but the pushchair itself is ok for use from birth. (As it turned out I borrowed a regular pram with carrycot which I used most of the time for the first 5 weeks of my babys life- after that I used the Jane only and had no problems.)
- The pushchair was reported to be tough and hardwearing and easy to use on difficult ground.
- It looks stylish
- There ...

Advantages: Swivel wheel, weight, looks Disadvantages: Small basket, expensive
...I laid eyes on the Jane Powertrack 360! All I can say is wow! The answer to my prayers! Light as a feather, weighing in at about 8kg if my memory serves me correctly, a swivel wheel that enables me to whizz round Tescos like Nigel Mansell, folds easily and fits into the boot of my Corsa. Oh - and it has a disc brake on the front, which to be honest meant nothing to me but my husband got very excited about it!
We bought the standard 360 with the ... ...just over £600 in total (including raincovers). The carrycot easily clips onto the chassis and has the added advantage that it can be fastened directly into the back seat of the car using the car seat belts so you dont have to transfer a sleeping baby into a car seat. The carrycot is suitable for use up to 20lbs but I have to admit that I gave up using it when my son was about 4 months old as it was too heavy to lift and carry when he was in it.

Advantages: Brilliant handling, easy storage Disadvantages: Not the cheepest on the market
Overview
I've had this buggy since the birth of my son 3 1/2 years ago and it has been fantastic. Maneuverable, stylish and good quality. I spent a long time researching what buggy I wanted and with the help of the shop assistant we narrowed it down to what I actually needed from a buggy.
I was planning on lots of walking so wanted something easy to push on a variety of surfaces. I also wanted a lay flat car seat and Jane's Matrix was the only ... ...a true comparison product out there yet.
Packaging / contents/ availability I bought my powertrack from an independent store, but they could also be bought at John Lewis or Mothercare. The powertrack is no longer available but the Slalom pro looks very similar. The actual powertrack design was bought by a company called Nurse and they sell it under their brand now. Its cheaper and without the disc break but still the same buggy. They can be found ...

Advantages: Good quality, value for money excellent around town or countryside Disadvantages: Small shopping basket, takes up a lot of storage space
...I am a recent convert to the 3 wheeler, I had planned to buy another pram but after a demonstration by the staff at my local John Lewis I just had to buy JanéPowertrack360!
Not only is the JanéPowertrack360 stylish but with the recent influx to the 3wheeler market I actually find it elegant but more importantly very efficient.
The Matrix car seat was one of the first lie flat car seats that I have ever seen and as trips out with baby can often be a lot longer than planned I was very impressed by the option to use it as a carrycot. My daughter is able to lie flat look at the mobile in the car and if she falls asleep I am able to transfer her to the Jané pram frame go about my business without waking her!
I found only three downsides to the car seat, firstly the seat is fairly large and in our Mazda it does take up the entire...

Advantages: lie flat seat unit, converts to pram with jane powertrack Disadvantages: awkward to fit, heavy
...We used this car seat in conjunction with the JanePowertrack360 and I have to say it looked super as a pram. As a car seat, however, it was a little fiddly. When purchased separately it costs approx £109.
The instructions with Jane products are not very good so make sure you buy from someone who can provide good after-sales service.
It is difficult to fit in the car and takes up a lot of room in the back seat. Also, it is very heavy. Despite saying it will do up to 18 months (Group 0+ in upright position), we only used it up to 9 months and when we used it in the 'upright' position, Jasmine looked very uncomfortable.
The lie back idea is super and I loved using it as a pram, but found it very cumbersome as a car seat.
