Advantages Lightweight, Manoeuvrable, Looks Fab!!

Disadvantages Expensive (but worth it!!!)

I started my search for a double pushchair when I found out I was expecting my second child.

There would be 2 years between my children, but my eldest wasn't ready to walk when we went out, with the fact that I don't drive either it was vital for me to have a good pushchair.

I eliminated the idea of having a side be side early on as the doorways in my house are very narrow.

I decided to purchase a tandem, I initially looked at the bulkier styles like Graco Stadium Duo, but it seemed to be quite big and bulky, although I wanted a nice amount of room for each child, it seemed quite big, it also wouldn't have fitted in the boot of my husbands car.

Then I found the Jane Powertwin!!

I purchased the Powertwin from a local stockist a long with a Jane Rebel car seat which is compatible with the pushchair.

It looks fantastic, I often get stopped in the street with people commenting on how nice it is.
I have been using this pushchair for 6 months now .

It has a light aluminium frame with pneumatic tyres which make it so easy to push and manoeuvre, and the suspension is really good especially for those off road trips.

Even with my toddler in the front it never feels top heavy. It is narrow and easy to push around the most cluttered of shops!!

The handle is adjustable so is great if you are short like me but it will suit you whatever your height.

The front seat reclines (although not fully) but enough for when my toddler has a nap, the sides of the seat are padded which stops his head falling to the side.

It is compact enough when folded that it fits in the boot of my husbands Renault Megane,, we just remove the rear two wheels, which are quick release. The front wheel is also quick release and has the added benefit of an adjustable disc break.

There is only two things that I can find wrong with the pushchair, and they are both related to using the car seat with the pushchair.

When the car seat is in the rear seat the front seat doesn't recline.

When the car seat is on you have to remove the hood which to me leaves the baby a bit exposed.

These aren't things to put you off buying this pushchair it was just things I wasn't aware of when I bought it.

It is an excellent solid, sturdy pushchair that I highly recommend and it is worth every penny .
