This was the 2nd double buggy I brought (after my husband broke the first!) My eldest son was 19 months and my youngest was 3 months.
We chose the Jane as we were looking for a buggy that we could buy replacement parts if we needed too.
I have to honeslty say I loved the Jane to start with. Yes, like anything else it has its good and bad points. If im honest these would be them:
the good:
tandem buggy means its easier to get in and out of doors.
Suitable for toddler and newborn
fairly lightweight to push due to wheels
average size shopping basket
the bad (and remember, this is only in my opinion!)
its heavy to lift (in and out of cars, and the bigger the child, the more difficult to lift up and down curbs)
foot rest at front isnt very big, my sons feet would always fall off it leaving them hanging by the wheel.
pushchair veres to one side (depending on pavement etc) (i ended up with a bad back due to trying to compensate for it.)
quite bulky when folded down

all in all, in my opinion, all i can say is i wish that i had brought the jane 4 wheel instead. if your strong, then maybe you wont have the same problem as me, but after the pushchair tiped onto two wheels and i nearly lost both my children into the middle of the road due to it vering and tipping onto one side i decided it was time the pushchair went!

I originally sent it back to Jane thinking there was a problem, but as i have learnt now (after browing my sister in laws who has the same) it is just a design fault. Im my opinion its was like one of those really annoying shopping trolleys that only go the way they want to!
