Peacocks also has a (if I may say so myself...) brilliant underwear section, for women anyway! The bras, knickers, thongs and so forth are of great quality and very in-exspensive. There is a wide variety of style and choice at fantastic choices, it was only the other day I bought an underwired cream bra with small embroidery on the front in the sale for £1.99!~And it has lasted few 2 washes so far! I also bought some knickers and 2 thongs at around £2 each! The standard and style is so cool, defintely a real boost for Peacocks from me! You can also buy childrens underwear at great prices as well as male items too.

store I am reviewing is in the Kingsway Centre (previously the In-shops) in Newport City Centre. The address is 10-12 Kingsway Centre, Newport, South Wales, NP20 1ED. Tel: - 01633 251434. According to the website http://www.peacocks.co.uk my local branch offers a womenswear, childrenwear and footwear departments, but that is news to me.
My local branch in Newport City Centre has had a major refurbishment in the last few months due to the fact they had to decrease there store size to make room for the planned Debenhams Store.

Advantages: Cheap and cheerful Disadvantages: Not good for the oversized!
Peacocks is a chain store offering clothes and assessories for all the family, originally from Warrington, Peacocks has currently over 460 stores throughout the UK and employs over 5000 staff and is part of the Peacock Group which includes Bonmarche and The Fragrance shop. (I find that the clothes are better quality than Bonmarche)
I should have shares in this store, it is the only shop we have in our village - Heckmondwike, that sells clothes suitable for the whole family.
The store is quite large, we used to have bouncers on the door when it first opened about 3 years ago, but they must trust us now as they have long since gone, either that or they can't afford to employ them!
The store is well set out in sections: Ladies, gents and children complete with plenty of light and airconditioning. In our store there are only 2 ...
