Advantages: Great food, fair prices, good service Disadvantages: Nothing I can think of
I'm sure everyone - well everyone who likes Chinese - probably has a favourite Chinese restaurant that they keep returning to. For the area where we live - between Northampton and Market Harborough - the Han is our Chinese of choice. It's located in the small Leicestershire market town of Market Harborough and you can find it on St Mary's Road. For those who know the town, it's the road which runs from the Market Square towards the railway station. With the Square behind you, pass the new Starbucks on the left hand side and it's just a hundred meters or so further along.
From the outside your first instincts might be that it doesn't look that much like a restaurant. This is because the Han is on two levels and you will only be able to see the downstairs reception area. Here there are sofas and coffee tables where people usually wait ...
Advantages: Gloriously colourful, wonderful songs Disadvantages: Perhaps not for the older children
Looking through the umpteen titles of family films, I was amazed that nobody has mentioned Hans Christian Andersen. Certainly it is the one that stands out in my childhood memories and I wonder how many modern mums still sing the song of the Ugly Duckling to their children or read them the tale of The Red Shoes.
Made in l952 the film has retained a childlike innocence with Danny Kaye playing the part of Andersen to perfection, indeed I was surprised when I saw a painting of Hans Christian Andersen to see just how alike the two are. The film is not meant to be a biography, but is merely a fairy tale about a storyteller.
Colourful costumes and fantasy backlots set the first scene with Hans the cobbler, singing merrily to the children of Odense who are so enthralled by his tales that they skip school. This causes the Town Dignitaries ...
Advantages: Diligent, client list, professional Disadvantages: Losing candidate focus
Michael Page are one of the biggest recruitment agencies in the UK. They have an impressive client list containing most of the top blue-chip organisations and have specialisms including finance, acountancy, retail and business management.
Personally, I've had both very good and very bad experiences from the retail division. I initially contacted Michael Page some 6/7 years ago when I was seeking a move within the retail market. On receiving my CV they were quick to respond and diligently invited me in for an initial meeting to discuss different opportunities. They are refreshingly good in giving you good straight forward and honest advice regarding your CV and how you come across. They will also give you a plethora of information about each opportunity they have at the time.
Michael Page retail placed me with a large organisation ...

Manufacturer's product description
JavaServer Pages (JSP) has built a huge following since the release of JSP 1.0 in 1999, providing Enterprise Java developers with a flexible tool for the development of dynamic web sites and web applications. While new point releases over the years, along with the introduction of the JSP Standard Tag Library (JSTL), have incrementally improved the rough areas of the first version of the JSP specification, JSP 2.0 takes this technology to new heights. JavaServer Pages, Third Edition, is completely revised and updated to cover the JSP 2.0 and JSTL 1.1 specifications. It includes detailed coverage of the Expression Language (EL) incorporated into JSP 2.0, the JSTL 1.1 tag libraries and the new function library, the new tag file format that enables custom tag library development without Java code, the simplified Java tag library API, improvements in the JSP XML syntax, and more. Further, it details setup of the Apache Tomcat server, JSP and JSTL syntax and features, error handling and debugging, authentication and personalization, database access, XML processing, and internationalization. This book recognizes the different needs of the two groups of professionals who want to learn JSP: page authors interested in using JSP elements in web pages, and programmers concerned with learning the JSP API and using JSP effectively as a part of an enterprise application. If you're in the first group, you'll learn from the practical web application examples in the second part of the book. If you're in the latter group, you'll appreciate the detailed coverage of advanced topics in the third part, such as how to integrate servlets and JavaBeans components with JSP using the popular Apache Struts MVC framework, and how to develop custom tag libraries using the JSP API, with realistic examples that you can use as a springboard for your own libraries.
