A great great car
Advantages: FAST, very American looking, always makes you smile, sounds great Disadvantages: a tad on the thirsty side of frugle... will help pay for trident.
...Upon selecting drive the Jeep sets off confidently, there's no need to rush, everyone can read the "4 LITRE HIGH OUTPUT" badge on the rear. Switch on the "rocket booster" and the Jeep literally flies. I managed to burn £40 worth of petrol in 110 miles using this switch! It is very fast, and no one expects it to be, which makes it even better. It is advisable to warn your passengers before "playing" with this switch, no body wants hot coffee in their ... ...from Plymouth or Somerset to London, I haven't had the courage to work out how much it costs from Plymouth, but I can run to London from Somerset for around £22, which, considering the comfort isn't too bad. However seeing as Gordon Brown has some sort of mental problem with 4x4's (bearing in mind its not permanent 4x4... go figure) I may be forced to go LPG.

Almost too much fun to be legal on the road
Advantages: Effortless towing, sure footed, comfortable and a wonderful sound system Disadvantages: Thirsty, bit twitchy on corners
...car. Stepping up into the Jeep for the first time, I was quietly stunned by all the equipment facing me. Turning the key for the first time, I was met by a cockpit style affair with lights all over the place and a few beeps. Even the upper centre console has a computerised display. The full leather heated seats are quite simply the most sumptuous seats I have ever parked myself in. They are evidently made for larger people and I cannot imagine anyone ... ...if required. The Jeep has a strange roof rack affair, parallel bars along the rood are attached to sliders that can be locked into the required position. This does affect fuel economy and noise because it cannot be removed but you don’t buy a vehicle like this if you are worried about fuel economy.
The amount of fuel this vehicle uses can only be measured at the pump. The overhead display insists on using litres per kilometre or miles per US gallon. ...

"What The Hell Was That???"
Advantages: Capable and Comfortable 4x4 Disadvantages: Expensive, Looks, Interior Quality
It’s tall and boxy with retro styling that attempts to hark back to the days of the 1940’s Willy’s-Jeep – America’s answer to the Land Rover – but is it a car you can live with on a day-to-day basis?
Jeep’s new Cherokee is not a car I would normally have considered driving around in, but I’ve found myself with one on loan for a couple of days and first impressions were a little perturbing. There’s no doubt that this 4x4 is full of character, but ... ...round headlights looking like shocked eyes amidst the otherwise softened square of its snout. It’s almost as if it’s driving along saying “what the hell was that?”
The Cherokee is aimed at the mid-sized 4x4 market and as such is not a particularly long car, though the rear-mounted spare wheel is difficult to see through the rear window and therefore judging distances to objects behind you while reversing can be a little difficult. It’s quite a narrow ...

THE luxury 4X4
Advantages: Comfortable, good driving position, luxury feel Disadvantages: Fuel consumption drops a lot in urban use.
It was a good day that we purchased the Jeep. Being used to a people carrier, it would have been hard to go down to an ordinary car. The ride is soft and gentle, no matter what the terrain; and being high, there is an impressive view all round. The one addition that I would recommed is satallite navigation though.
The steering is very sensitive and it takes a little while to realise that slight moves of the wheel can get you wandering over the road. ...
