Chrysler Grand Cherokee 3.1 TD We are now the owners of our second "Jeep" which we bought from our local dealers, who by the way give an excellent service, We have had several different 4 wheel drive cars, mainly Mitsubishi, which although we liked thought they priced thenmselves out of the market. It was a good day that we purchased the Jeep. Being used to a people carrier, it would have been hard to go down to an ordinary car. The ride is soft and gentle, no matter what the terrain; and being high, there is an impressive view all round. The one addition that I would recommed is satallite navigation though. The steering is very sensitive and it takes a little while to realise that slight moves of the wheel can get you wandering over the road. Once learnt, the car goes like a dream. I owned a Jeep Grand Cherokee 3.1 TD in 2000 I only kept it for 4 Months as the air con packed up, This was fixed and the rear wiper then failed, no sooner was that fixed the central locking went.. The interiour was very spacious and the leather heated seats were very relaxing when driving, I found the dual air con was good as I like heat and my wife likes to be cool so by setting the knobs in the correct position we obtained exactly as we wanted. In my opinion, Grand Cherokee limited has a great performance, a great interior room, excellent cargo capacity and a long-term mechanical reliability. I have been buying the Grand Cherokee for over 10 years now and every year it have had great improvements. I think that Grand Cherokee was useful when single and even more useful now with my family growing. I even use it for when moving from one house to another.
