Must have a Miami
Advantages: Smells lovely, lasts well, free gift Disadvantages: can be quite strong, quite expensive

Anyway, a few days after the perfume was first released, I found myself wandering along the perfume counter in Boots, my boyfriend had just spent £60 on a pair of jean, on the credit ... ...had a sniff of various bottles, but came back to Jo Lo Miami Glow.
I purchased the 50ml bottle, which cost me £29. It’s available in sizes, 30ml, 50ml and 100ml. There are also various body lotions and shower gel available in the range too.
The perfume is available on www.cheapsmells.com for £24.75 for 50ml, which is slightly cheaper than I paid.

I had a sniff of various bottles, but came back to Jo Lo Miami Glow.
I purchased the 50ml bottle, which cost me £29. It’s available in sizes, 30ml, 50ml and 100ml. There are also various body lotions and shower gel available in the range too.

When I purchased my bottle of perfume, there was an offer of a free bracelet available. The bracelet is quite child-like with bright colours and a nasty gold coloured pair of flip-flops as a small charm. The bracelet wasn’t very appealing. Since I bought my bottle, I have seen the perfume with a different free gift, this time a pretty diamante bracelet, typical!
The perfume comes in brightly coloured box. There are swirls of oranges and yellows and contrasting gold. There’s also a palm tree on the front of the box. The bottle itself is made from glass. It’s the same style as the original J Lo Glow perfume. It’s about 6 inches in height, and at its widest point it’s almost 2 inches wide. The bottle tapers towards the top, and is very narrow. I discovered that after using it a few times, I’d used almost the full neck of the bottle. So obviously there isn’t that much in the top of the bottle. The bottle has an amber tint to it, which makes it look sun kissed. The lid is a dark metallic gold colour with the name of the perfume written across in yellow. Overall the packing and bottle is quite nice, it’s girly and pretty and would look lovely on anyone’s dressing table.
The perfume has strong notes of passion fruit, coconut milk, blackcurrant, orange flower, heliotrope (!), sun-baked sand, amber, vanilla orchid and musk. The scents of passion fruit and coconut are very apparent when you spray the perfume. It has a strong fruit smell, and reminds me of beach holidays, and tropical sun tan lotion on hot summer days. It’s very fruity but also musky the smell. As soon as you’ve sprayed the perfume thoughts of summer flood your head. You definitely don’t need a lot of this when you use it. Less is definitely more with this perfume. If you spray too much it’ll end up choking you. It’s a very strong perfume, which lasts all day, so you don’t need to spay too much. I would say two or three quirts at most, otherwise you’ll stink everybody out.
The perfume reminds me of some of the Escada perfumes that are available to buy. The packaging and the fruity scent, definitely remind me of Escada products.
I would recommend this perfume for the younger woman, it think it might be a bit too fruity and strong for the more mature woman. I’m 20, and I would say that it’s very suitable for me and anyone around my age.
As I mentioned, the perfume lasts extremely well and there’s no need to reapply throughout the day. I’ve had my bottle of perfume for about 4 months and I have just less than half left. It lasts reasonably well, because you don’t need to use a lot when you spray it.
I’ve had various compliments when wearing this perfume, so it’s obviously quite pleasant on the nostrils!!

This perfume was launched as limited edition, and is an alternative version of Jennifer Lopez's first perfume, 'Glow'. Here's what I thought about it:
Packaging:
It comes in a glass bottle which is full and round at the bottom, but progressively tapers off to become thin at the top. It is clear glass with a small frosted plastic lid and the perfume inside is a clear orange. There is a multicoloured bracelet draped around the body with a small pair ... ...the top which has 'J-Lo Miami Glow' written on it. It is a relatively simple design but I would say it is quite effective. The box it comes in is very eye catching though; it's a shimmery holographic bronze colour with palm trees, and the classic 'J-Lo' logo written in gold.

The price ranges from £17.99 for 30ml to £39.99 for 100ml. It is no longer available in the shops in the UK as it was limited edition, however it can ...

Unfortunatley I may seemed biased against this product because I wrote quite a poor review on J.Lo's previous perfume. However the fact that I purchased this item shows that I was willing to give the product a fair try.
I first read about Miami Glow in a magazine and the description sounded very appealing to me. (As all things do when they are written about I suppose!) I needed a new perfume desperately and went to my local Boots to find Miami Glow ... ...myself. When I found the stand I noticed that if you bought the perfume you got the most gorgeous heart necklace free. I fell in love with the necklace and after a tester of the perfume I bought the smallest bottle available. I left the shop quite pleased with my purchase especially as I got the free necklace....
When I tried the perfume it smelt very sweet and what attracted me to it was how different the smell was. No other fragrence I had smelt ...

Miami Glow was created by Jennifer Lopez and released in 2005 by perfumer Caroline Sabas. It was designed to bring the wearer the flavour of Miami's hot, sexy party scene.
What the packaging is like:
Again (when will perfume manufacturers bring us something different?!) the bottle comes in a cardboard box wrapped in cellophane. The box features a palm tree against a vibrant sunset. The words Miami Glow and J Lo are in bold metallic ... ...box is very eye-catching and promises a wonderful beach fragrance, which the perfume definitely delivers on.
What the bottle is like:
The bottle is fairly thin and tall, curving from the bottom to a slender neck. It is made of quite delicate glass in a lovely shimmering bronze colour. Advantages: youll smell fab! Disadvantages: can be a bit overpowering so use sparingly!
i first smelled this scent walking through a department store where i promptly had it squirted at me by an assisstant while being told 'close your eyes imagine you are in the heat of miami u are a hot chica........' and things to that effect! i never would of guessed it was a j lo scent though smells nothing like the first two at all! i was surprised!
smells really tropical reminds me of lying on the beach on your hols with that lovely coconut spray ... ...which cam e with a free charm braclet which i gave to my baby niece! just a little childish i thought!
anyway its smells really great good adds a dash of summer to those cold winter months......
the only downside is that if you spray to much you end up in serious danger of feelin queasy just 2 or 3 squirts is enough. i would recommended this product though as a pick me up till we actually get to summer ...

I was given this as a present for my Birthday, and was a worried that I would't like it, as I wasn't too keen on the original 'Glow'. However I was really surprised and found the fragrance to be totally unique.
It has that 'summer holiday' smell, that reminds you of days at the beach. It has a definite scent of mango, but is not overpowring like the Body Shop mango scent that we used to buy as kids!! The bottle is a hady shape to fit onto yor bag, ...
