Advantages set in modern day, so you can really relate to whats happening, and locations
Disadvantages hard to put down, makes you feel like you want to stuff your face with cakes!
I purchased this book when i went to taba, April last year, I only went for a week and i managed to read the whole book in just 3 days! it was so addictive, i never wanted to put it down. Cupcake making is a hobby of mine so thats why this book caught my eye, the story is brilliant, you really feel like you are part of the characters lifes, and just want to step in a help! You can really picture every single detail in this book, the auther has done a fantastic job.
From a 9-5 job to running your own cafe, its a little dream come true, but with the twists, the upsets, the dramas, and the love story, its hard to put down. When the character issy is baking the cakes you instantly get the feeling of what they will taste and smell like, it really makes you smile! With the recipies as well, you can infact recreate grampa's famous cakes!in my opionin this book is a must have read, i am 23 and loved it, but my mum of 50+ has read this to, and has the same opionins and can really realate to the characters.
