Let me first describe a little bit about Jeremy Kyle as this is his show after all. His media career started in radio broadcasting. Initially he was a part time life insurance salesman and involved in radio advertising and through this channel of work he secured a job at Invicta FM in 1996. The eponymously baptized "Jeremy Kyle Show" has become something of a legend in recent times. The format is simple - suitably self-important, insensitive host invites various "disadvantaged" members of the British public onto his show to sort out their (numerous) scrapes. Everyone’s heard of the Jeremy Kyle Show (ITV 2) by now. A judge has called it a form of human bear-baiting and it recently caused another furore by ‘inadvertently’ broadcasting a swear word. Jeremy Kyle show is meant to be a chat show with guests appearing to talk about various problems in their lives and then the host Jeremy Kyle goes ahead and tries to find the truth and ways to patch up the problems. Well this is how it was described to me but sadly I fail to see the reason behind the show. The host to begin with might be someone is not afraid to voice his opinion but sometimes you wish he would shut up and let the guests speak.
