I'd never heard of Jessica Nail Products,up until about a year and a half ago.
After hearing my mum bang on about how good a Clarins/Jessica pedicure was,I decided to book myself in for a 'luxury' pedicure.

I've never been a person who goes for brands and generally tend to pick up whatever takes my fancy, not regarding whether its 50p or 5.00p!

However when I'd had my pedicure done,I had the choice of the nail colour that I wanted and was amazed at the spectrum of colours available for my tootsies!

There was literally everything, from bright blue, through to pink,to black.

I've always liked dark, deep reds and the array was fantastic, every variation on deep red that you could imagine.

The second time I went back, about 6 months later, there was a new range that they had ordered and one of the colours really stood out for me and it was called 'NOTORIOUS'.

It looked great in the bottle, just my cup of tea,and the colour it portrayed didnt do it as much justice as when it was applied.

In the bottle,it looked a luxurious deep red, almost like CHANEL-ROUGE NOIR.
However when it was applied, not only was it just like rouge noir,at a fraction of the price, but it had tiny elements of glitter, which looked gorgeus.

The glitter didnt look tacky at all either,as some glittery varnishes can look really trashy, but this one just caught the light occasionally, showing a really delicate shimmer.

The best way to describe the colour would be to say it it deep red/burgandy with a hint of black to make it look glam and vampy.

I liked it so much that I bought a bottle from the salon which I had the pedicure done.
It cost me 6.00p,but I often see them retail on the net for 6.99p,or even more.
This does seem alot to an extent to pay for a varnish, but the colour is lovely and its durability is well worth the money.

In terms of how long it lasts,i would give a rough estimate of 3 weeks on your toes and1-2 weeks on your nails, depending on what kind of work you do,obviously.

I find that if you put on a jessica base coat and a top coat, then it tends to last alot longer, but generally it lasts alot longer than alot of other varnishes i've used previously.

The only difference between using a top and bottom coat, compared to varnish alone,is that when the varnish does start to come off, then with a top/bottom coat the varnish will come off as a whole, rather than chipping.
This to some people will be useful, some not useful.

I'd generally recommend buying these products if you like a good quality varnish, with a vast array of colours and you dont mind spending a little more.

Other colours include: Lucy in the sky -bright blue

Electric lady-bright pink

Cherry red-deep red

Cassablanca-blue/black
