Jessops Camera support kit

I recently bought this camera accessory pack from Jessops. I was looking for a small desk top tripod to mount my digital camera on. When I came across this. For only £9.99 on a store deal.

Inside the kit comes a tripod, cleaning solution and cloth, screen protector, lens tissue, camera fine brush, cotton buds and a plastic style bag to put in into..

The tripod is ideal. Then I noticed its telescopic offering three different hights. 6.5 inches, 9 inches and 12 inches. With three legs opening to form a tripod.
The tripod head also swivels and tilts. With a screw type fixing on the side to lock into place.

Build : 8/10
The build quality is quite good too. IT has a metal screw thread for the base of the camera. The legs are made from an Alloy with rubber feet and a metal cast camera mount plate.
Once opened into the tripod position its really quite sturdy. I have used it on both a compact and my Fujifilm S4080 bridge camera, and it hold both well.

Extra kit 8/10
The Fine brush is a lip stick style, with a lip. Just unclip the lid, twist the base and out pops a fine dust brush. I thought this was a nice item and have used it many times.

Ear buds are what they are.

Cleaning cloth is a similar fabric as you get with reading glasses, very soft and clears the screen from finger marks very well.

The cleaning solution is alcohol based, and does a good job on the camera body.

The screen protector isn’t very good, It comes on a piece of card with cutting markings for most camera screen sizes, but its very thick and I did struggle getting this on without air bubbles so I binned it. And no its not me, I have successfully put many screen protectors on mobile phones and other devices in the past with no problems. It also had a card squeegee in the kit, but this wasn’t great either…

All in all I was very happy with this buy. After all I was expecting to pay at least £10.00 for a desk top tripod camera stand on its own. I have used this tripod loads and the dust brush and cloth. and it sits in the bag in came with.
I give this a good 9/10. and before you ask yea, I bought it. ïŠ
