I bought this on recommendation from a friend and colleague, who uses it for cleaning at work as well as at home. She said it does the job where other cleaners are just not good enough, so I promptly went out and bought some. I paid £1.05 in Tesco, which I thought was surprisingly cheap for a big name brand like Cif.
Cif claim that this bathroom mousse gives brilliant results with minimum effort. You just need to spray the mousse on, leave it 5-10 minutes, and rinse it off. It's suitable for use on plastic, enamel and chrome surfaces.
The mousse comes in a tall cylindrical can with a see-through lime green domes lid. The top has the usual mousse-can spray, with a button at one side of the nozzle, which you just press down and out squirts the mousse. It's really easy to use and to direct the spray where you want it.
It's easy to spray the mousse evenly over a surface, you just need to experiment at first to find out how far away to hold the can, but I find holding it about 10-15cm away gives the best results. The fumes from the mousse are very strong, so I'd advise to keep a window open while you're using it, and even though it has a citrus fragrance, this doesn't really take the edge off the fumes.
So, after leaving it to work for 10 minutes, the mousse has mainly disappeared and all that's left is to rinse it off. Well, that's what the instructions say anyway. Unfortunately I find that just leaving it and rinsing it off is really not enough to get rid of any marks you may have around your bathroom, such as limescale and watermarks. It's fine if your surfaces are pretty clean anyway, but if not then it really needs a quick scrub down before rinsing the stuff off, and this way it does take away pretty much everything.
The problem with this mousse is that you have to use quite a lot at a time. I found to do my bath and sink took over half a can, so the can wouldn't even do them both twice, which is quite disappointing. Apart from that fact, I was really impressed with results that could be achieved with this and a minimal amount of scrubbing, and I will be buying it again.

A good assessment - I must admit, I do like these kind of spray-on-and-leave-to-work kind of products! A shame it doesn't go further - I think I've seen these in the shops and, being a fairly big can, I imagined they would last a while.
