Advantages: Laptop friendly, comprehensive tutorial for beginners Disadvantages: Expensive for what it's worth, not for the experienced Sims players
no previous knowledge about the game, until I received it as a gift, Life Stories (LS) is a game in its own right and not an expansion pack. Therefore the big question was whether you need this game as well as Sims 2? Well, you just have to read on.
LS uses the same format, furniture and character creators as Sims 2 does, which was rather disappointed as I would have loved something completely new. So what is ?Life Stories?? The concept of the game comes from its titled. You have the control of a single Sim character, and guiding her or him through their life in a lovely town called ?Four Corners?.
The first life that you come across, will be Riley ?s. She has decided to move back to ?Four Corners? to live with her auntie Sharon after losing her job in SimCity. She decided to move away and to get her feet back on the ground ...
Advantages: A virtual life if you don't have one of your own ;o) Disadvantages: Can spend hours on this game wasting my real life
this game as it would add another very interesing element to the game. I beleive that add-on packs were available for pets in previous Sims games. So maybe it'll be available in the future.

The house building tools etc are very good. You can build pretty much anything you like. And you can get loads of fiurniture etc to fill the house with. You can even swap/purchase designs online with other players.
Overall I enjoy this game. It can get quite addictive and can easilly swallow up a few hours. I've not had the previous versions to ...

Advantages: Fun for a while, detailed, good graphics Disadvantages: Addictive, gets boring after a while!
look like and choose their personality! So whether you want lots of people living under one roof or just one its up to you! To know how your Sim is feeling there are meters on hygiene, room, social, energy and several more. For your Sim to have the best chance of promotion at work all these meters need to be fairly high.
There have been two add-ons for the Sims game and I do think that Maxis have perhaps been a bit greedy in bringing out two. The first one is The Sims Livin it up expansion pack which I own. That provides you with 125 new items, 5 new careers, more neighbourhoods and a robot that you can buy to help around the house! I would recommend this expansion pack as I was impressed with it but if you do not already own the Sims or the Sims Livin it up please note that there are special bundle deals. The other add-on for the Sims is ...
