They have always said blondes have much more fun!

Advantages: The blondeness!!!
Disadvantages: absolutely none

...to spot my tube of John Frieda Beach Blonde Sun Streaks!

It's worth it too I think, because if you think about it, it can cost up to £120 to have highlights done in some salons, but if you are looking for a quick, new funky summer look it only costs £6.50 to try it out, and if you don't like it then there is always the hair dressers!

I bought my John Frieda Beach Blonde Sun Streaks in Safeways, but I have seen it in ...
...very easy to find!!

As well as being easy to find it is simple to use too! Basically all you have to do is apply the gel to your fingertips then pull it through the selected strands of hair right from the roots to the tips. You can either then expose it directly to the sun or use the hair-dryer to blow dry it dry! If your hair is not as light as you want it to be then you just have to re-apply the gel till you get the desired effect! ... more

Bleak Streaks

Advantages: Good Packaging!
Disadvantages: Lots!

...so when I saw the John Frieda sun streaks highlighter it seemed perfect. It comes from the John Frieda beachblonde range and I had had John Frieda hair products in the past and they were all great so that was a major factor in deciding on the highlighter. I bought the product from boots at £6.49 which at the time of purchase I thought was a price. ~ The Purpose ~ The product is supposed to "light up hair with fresh from-the-beach, sun-drenched ...
...especially because it was a john frieda product and cost me £6.50! - At least at the hairdressers you know when you walk out your hair will be blonder! ~ The Verdict ~ After repeated attempts to at least see some improvement in the product, I have finally given up hope and will be booking my hair appointment soon! ...

John Frieda Beach Blonde Sun Streaks.

Advantages: Loads!
Disadvantages: None!

Wow this product is brilliant! I had hair past my bum which was beginning to look a bit messy on the ends, so I went for the chop! I had a foot of it cut off but this made my hair a rather dull blonde as it was mainly the ends that were a nice blonde. I thought about having highlights done at the hairdressers but was worried about the drying effect and the roots regrowth. Then when I went into boots I spotted this amazing product! It was summer ...
...go, put some in my hair, and sat in the warmth of the sun - this product can also be used under the heat of a hairdryer, so its great for blonde hair all year round. I was really pleased with the results and redo my hair with it every few weeks. My hair went from a dull blonde to a silky shiny glistening golden blonde, everyone comments on how nice it look so it must be good :) It costs £6.49 for a tube. You can use it as streaks or all over ...

Sun streaks

Advantages: Amazingly natural
Disadvantages: discontinued and only available on ebay!

Oh why was this discontinued, i am going to have to bleach my hair for the first time ever ! people are charging a fortune for the last few that are still available ! nightmare! I love my hair after using this stuff. You add it to dry hair and let the sun naturally dry it, this results in a natural looking blonde. IF you use a hair dryer you still get the same look. I am 32 and never had to lighten my hair, i havnt needed to. Joh Frieda are sure ...

Summer Hair

Advantages: Great Blonde hair fast In The summer!
Disadvantages: Pricy and less likely to work in the winter

I used to have a mousy brown coloured hair until april last year. I wanted to get my hair dyed blonde, but just couldn't face doing it with a proper pack. so when i saw this, i thought i would give it a go. a it was miracle! i applied it all over my hair, to get an all-over blonde effect, and then hair dyed my hair. i also spent alot of time under a hot sun as well. to my happiness, my hair turrned a lovely honey blonde, with 3 weeks on replapling. ...
...but since the summer my roots have grown so i have tried to reapply it but it doesn't seemed to make much differece. this product is great for summer when the sun can help it, but in winter it just doesnt seem to work. you can by it in boots for about £6.50, and it comes in an attractive bottle which is sunny yellow colour. the amount you get for money is quite good and last a long time. the actual stuff is a clear gel, which has a very starnge ...

Hit and Miss

Advantages: Good for roots
Disadvantages: Difficult to get exactly where you want

I saw advertised in a magazine John Frieda Beach Blonde Sun Streaks, I already have highlights in my hair and because the roots are always "black" I thought this product might solve my problems. I went into Boots and the first time I went in there was just a vacant spot where this product was labelled, but with no stock there! I thought this product must be good its sold out, so I went to another branch of Boots and lo and behold I found it. It is in a pretty yellow, summery "blonde" looking 125ml squeezy tube but I thought priced at over six pounds could I justify the expense? Well considering I am always at the hairdressers having my roots done at about 28 pounds a shot, I thought this might be an investment, and then I remembered I had over six pounds of reward points, so I could have this anyway guilt free ...
