Hello All. I've not been around much of late. My life's been so hectic and not necessarily for good reasons. But I'm making an effort to get back here!!

I've got to confess, I never had any intensions of buying this as it's a bit pricey, but when I was given some for Christmas, I had no choice but to give it a go
This comes in two varieties, one for lighter shades of brown - chestnut to hazelnut - and one for darker - chocolate to espresso. I use the lighter one and so will be reviewing that one
General
It's got a very smooth appearance, and whilst the fragrance is nice, I can't quite put my finger on what it smells like. I find you only need a small amount as it lathers up very easily, providing you've made your hair wet enough to begin with. It also rinses very cleanly, and only one application's needed.
I have to admit, being a shampoo for dark hair, I was expecting the shampoo to be brown - but it's creamy in colour. Not a major point, but something that took me by surprise!!
Packaging
This comes in one of those trendy looking tubes that stands on its end. I'm not sure if it's the sort of plastic that can be recycled at a general recycle point, but it does say it can be recycled.
The tube itself holds 250ml, which lasts me about a month and a half to two months and I wash my hair at least once a day.
It does look stylish, with glossy writing and lots of gumph on the back saying it can be used for natural brunettes or those who use colours
My Impression
I have quite frizzycurly hair, and since using this, even my hairdresser has commented on how curly and well behaved my hair's become. I wouldn't say it's brought out the multi-tones of my hair, but it's certainly made it softer.
I do have a problem with the flip top. Nine times out of ten, I have to prize it open with a pair of tweezers as it suctions shut.
Cost and Value
Normally I see these priced up around £3.79 in Tesco, which for shammpoo, I think is a lot of money. I will only buy this when it's on offer, then I stock up, as I do find it does my hair good. As it lasts quite a long time, I think value wise it's ok.
Other Products Available
As with so many products these days, there's also a conditioner, deep conditioner and many many other products available in the range. All of them are pricey.
Recommended?
Yes and no really. Yes because it does leave my hair soft and managable. No because it's pricey, and doesn't bring out the highlights as promised. That might just be because my hair doesn't have any!!!
If you do plan on trying the range, I would say wait for an offer in Tesco or Boots, or whereever you do your shop

Hi, good review. I have been tempted to buy this but the price always put me off. Am quite a John Frieda Frizz Ease fan. I also have curly, frizzy sort of hair. Have started using the Frizz Ease Wind Down, which helps with the frizz leaving my hair much smooter and manageable. danix

Advantages: Hair smells fantastic and hair feels soft . Disadvantages: I suppose there are a lot of chemicals listed in this - but this is the same for most conditioners
