......then buy some of this conditioner.
Why did I buy it? I bought this conditioner (and shampoo) on recommendation from another Ciao opinion, because I have very limp, fine hair. It is designed for fine to normal hair as it conditions and helps repair fine, fragile hair sounds great I thought. The tube proudly proclaims to give thicker and cooler hair and delivers super-sexy suppleness - how can a girl resist? After all, when our hair looks good, we feel good!
Packaging I really like the look of the packaging bright blue tube with a reasonably clear flat lid. You flip the lid back on its hinges and squeeze. The hole does not get bunged up at all and, as the lid is flat, it stores nicely with the contents always ready to be squeezed. A big let down is the fact that the gap between the tube and the lid tends to fill with water, so you can end up with a gloopy mess as you squeeze the conditioner out.
The product and price The tube contains 250ml of a nice creamy, but not too thick, white conditioner. It does not smell particularly strong, just nice and clean. It is not greasy or too heavy so you feel like your hair would be weighed down. I have shoulder length hair but I only use conditioner on the bottom half, and the tube lasted me about 12 washes. The price in most places is 3.50, which is a lot more expensive than some of the middle range brands, such as Pantene, which is normally about 1.50 for 200 ml. So, it is worth it?
Directions A bit of an obvious section here, but it is worth mentioning that you do not need to leave this conditioner in your hair to work just apply to wet hair distributing evenly and rinse thoroughly.
Did it work? Yes and no. Firstly, I noticed a vast difference if I dried my hair or left it to dry naturally (which I often try to do if I can, to reduce the damage caused by hairdryers). If I left it to dry naturally, I looked a real mess. My hair looked limp and lank as if I hadnt washed it for days. On the other hand if I dried it with a hair dryer, it looked a lot more bouncy (but still not brilliant). Lets go through the promises it makes on the tube:
Thicker and cooler hair it did not make my hair any thicker than with any other conditioner, in fact when left to dry it looked very thin and lank this certainly does not meet the cool claim.
Delivers super sexy suppleness urm, not sure about this one. My hair certainly felt softer after use, but suppleness means bounce to me and I only achieved that after hair drying, whereas with some other conditioners, I get bounce by drying naturally.
Conditions and helps repair fine, fragile hair I would agree with this one as my hair is definitely softer when using this conditioner and split ends are not as noticeable.
Instant infusion of ultra-lite moisturisers for super detangling and hi-intensity shine I was able to get a brush through my hair easily after using this conditioner, but I wouldnt say my hair was more shiny after using it.
Conclusion Well, I certainly wont be buying it again. I think it would be suitable for people who style their hair more than I do because of the difference it made leaving it to dry naturally. I have also read that is it brilliant if you have dyed your hair as it certainly helped with my brittle ends (sun dyed). For me it is not worth the extra money over the cheaper brands, which perform just as well on my hair. If you want to try this conditioner, it is available in some chemists in a 25ml sample packet for around 0.99, which would also be useful for travelling.
Advantages: Makes it soft, sleek and manageble. Doesnt leave it flat unlike some other conditioners. Great Price, on offer at the moment 3 for 2. Disadvantages: Doesnt produce the shine it promises which is a let-down.
...make it look dull. John Frieda's "Instant conditioner & Shiner" sachet is your best bet to make it sleek, soft and generally revive your hair after its been highlighted or even if you feel its just in the need of a boost.
This 25ml sachet can be found in boots (3 for 2 offer at the moment!) or any other good store and is one of the many John Frieda's 'Ready to Wear' products. I found that when I used this product it was simple but effective to use ... ...there was loads in the packet for the size. In my opinion I found several advantages and a few disadvantages as listed below.
ADVANTAGES:
Made my hair feel really soft and supple and also made it easy to style when wet or once dry.
Didn’t make my hair feel flat unlike some other conditioners no matter how much of the conditioner I used on my hair. Simple but effective to use from a reasonable sized sachet. No skimping ...

Advantages: Great results Disadvantages: Doesn't untangle hair
...to the deep blue of John Frieda's "readytowear" range of hair care products. Due to the dull flatness of my hair, I decided to go for the instant conditioner + shiner too liven in up, hoping for the "super-sexy suppleness" promised.
***What it's meant to do***
The conditioner claims to do a number of things. Firstly, it will detangle and add shine to hair by moisturising it. Then is will condition (!) and help to repair damaged hair. Finally the ... ...unless it's on offer. The John Frieda range is available from most High Street stores so if you shop around you could probably get quite a good deal. ***Making it better***
For a start, they should change the flip lid at the bottom. This is because it captures water and creates a water/conditioner mess that spills out as soon as it's opened. Okay so this isn't so bad if you're in a shower but it does waste the precious conditioner. The price (as ...

I use John Frieda's Sheer Blonde shampoo and conditioner. Although the price tag is a little hefty I can assure you that every penny is most definitely well spent. I have written a glowing reference to the Sheer Blonde shampoo and now it is the turn of the Sheer Blonde Instant Conditioner.
The reason that I use this product is simply because of the amazing results that it produces. I tend to opt for the Platinum to Champagne type as ... ...website contains more information regarding John Frieda products. www.johnfrieda.com I thoroughly endorse this amazing conditioner and I cannot imagine myself using any other products. Brunettes do not despair I did notice, when I was filling my Boots basket that the John Frieda range has now added Sheer Brunette hair care products which I am sure will be as wonderful as all the Sheer Blonde range. ...

Advantages: Lovely smell, doesn't weigh your hair down, leaves it shiny! Disadvantages: None
With a wonderful smell this conditioner really does do wonders for your hair. You know the conditioner you get with hair-dye that makes your hair so silky smooth? Well this is perhaps the closest you can get to buying that stuff! It leaves your hair shiny, but without making it look greasy as a lot of conditioners can do. And it maintains your hair's body without weighing it down! If you have dry or treated hair, or even if you blowdry your hair ... ...dyed my hair and had highlights put in it over the past few months my hair has become a little dry. Having to blowdry my hair every day because of the cold weather over here really doesn't help matters. This along with my normally fine hair warrants a conditioner that will restore my hairs condition without leaving it limp. This conditioner does the job!
A simply perfect conditioner that I would recommend to any person who is really bothered about ...

At the time when I bought the Colour Glaze, it was a new addition to the John Frieda range, I happened to be using the Brilliant Brunette shampoo and conditioner and I'd recently spent enough at Boots for them to give me a 2 off professional haircare... more
