I was delighted to find that on my last visit to Boots, I could stock up on my favourite shampoos and conditioners as there was a 3 for 2 deal on Sheer Blondehair care. As high quality always comes attached with a high price tag I always make sure that I take full advantage of offers such as these, and at £4.29 for 250ml I would be mad not to.
My hair is naturally fair but I will admit that my lovely blonde hair is from a bottle. I sit very patiently while a swimming hat with holes is forced onto my head and I smile through gritted teeth while strands of my hair are pulled through the holes in the cap with what can only be described as the ' hook of torture'. If you had to endure such punishment wouldn't you want to keep your colour for as long as possible ?
I use John Frieda's Sheer Blonde shampoo and conditioner. Although the price tag is a little hefty I can assure you that every penny is most definitely well spent. I have written a glowing reference to the Sheer Blonde shampoo and now it is the turn of the Sheer Blonde Instant Conditioner.
The reason that I use this product is simply because of the amazing results that it produces. I tend to opt for the Platinum to Champagne type as the results are more noticeable. Sheer Blonde can be used by natural, colour- treated or highlighted blondes as the shampoo protects the hair from build up which can dull and darken blonde hair. The enhancers activate all the highlights in my hair and my hair shimmers, it looks and feels wonderful. The tube resembles a large tube of toothpaste and is made from bendy plastic which is very good for squeezing out every last drop of conditioner
This unique hair formula contains provitamin B5 and sunflower seed oil which helps to repair damage caused by colouring and heat. No matter how hard you have been to your hair the conditioner never fails. When I have had a night out and pinned up my hair I am always a little heavy handed with the hairspray and the morning after my hair can feel like straw, even after washing my hair I still cannot run my fingers through it, but when I apply Sheer Blonde Instant conditioner the results are well...... instant. The conditioner melts into my hair and immediately my hair is transformed into gorgeous smooth silkiness. All the residues are gone and my hair is weightless. After drying and styling the shimmering colour is unmistakeable and it has been known for me to keep touching and feeling my hair and staring into every shop windoe that I walk past ! I's not vanity I'm just gobsmacked by the power of this conditioner !
The shampoo is made in the UK and the website contains more information regarding John Frieda products. www.johnfrieda.com I thoroughly endorse this amazing conditioner and I cannot imagine myself using any other products. Brunettes do not despair I did notice, when I was filling my Boots basket that the John Frieda range has now added Sheer Brunette hair care products which I am sure will be as wonderful as all the Sheer Blonde range.

I like this too. But when I confessed to my hairdresser once that I'd been using it she nearly fainted! Of course, I should have been buying the salon products at £8 a go! Personally, I can't see/feel any difference in my hair when I use the expensive stuff to when I use Freida's conditioner. Last time I went, the hairdresser obviously hadn't been keeping track of when I had/hadn't last bought the salon stuff. 'Which conditioner are you using?' she said. "I said, oh - the *Salon brand*, of course", I replied. "I can tell", she said. "It's in beautiful condition.' I hadn't the heart to tell her I'd been using JF for the past 6 weeks! Lou x
