I would not say that it gave extreme shine, but it did leave my hair after blow-drying looking allot sleeker and shiner than normal, and also taming any stray hairs or split ends. My hair was also noticeably softer to the touch and this effect lasted the whole day, two friends even commented on how nice my hair was looking
When I first used the shampoo I noticed it had a rather odd smell though you do become accustomed to it. A rich lather is created with only a small amount of shampoo being needed so it will last longer than many other shampoos would, and rinses out easily, when I accidentally got some of the shampoo in my eyes as we all do from time to time it did not sting like many other products, so this shampoo may be good to use on younger children when you need that extra shiny look for those special occasions.
I would recommend this shampoo to anyone whose hair is dry or has lots of flyaway ends that they would prefer not to be seen. It has worked wonders for my hair and I hope it has the same effect on others.

...To Wear range by John Frieda is definitely worth a try if you find other brands leave your hair feeling dry and unmanageable. It is easy to apply and produces just the right amount of lather when you just use a little, and rinses easily. It is gentle enough to use every day if you require and when rinsed it is all washed away so it doesn't leave any residues behind. The fragrance is pleasant but not overpowering.

This shampoo is ideal for anyone who finds some shampoos strip all the good oils from their hair and are looking for a brand which doesn't leave hair coated in an unpleasant residue which can leave hair looking dull and lifeless. My hair isn't 'damaged' as such but I must say it looks really shiny and full of body since I have been using this brand (about 5 months now). You only need a very small amount and it rinses easily, unlike some other brands. ...

...shampoo, I came across the John Frieds Ready to Wear range. Having fine hair that seemed to be weighed down by all the products I was using to straighten it. The Ready to Wear range it aimed at finer hair promising "thicker,cooler hair"
Thye range is in a dark blue packaging - not as trendy as the frizz Ease range, a bit more of a classic design, which I happened to quite like.
The price at £3.50 was reasonable and in the average price band of ... ...the shower - were all my dreams about to come true, well the shampoo with it's flip top lid was easy to use and the shampoo was a mother of pearl colour and had a really silky feel, but what struck me most was the smell - remember the old voilet sweets - well this has the exact smell which I happen to think is gorgeous.

It seems everytime I find a shampoo that delivers
what it promises and more, like Frieda's Glistening
the stores stop selling it. I want to know what is
up. I haven't been able to replenish my supply.
I am desperate to find more.
The first time I used the glistening shampoo it was in
