My hair is naturally a much darker colour than it is now because I have always dyed it blonde. My roots are quite noticeable now, especially as I'm not 20 anymore, and my grey hairs are starting to appear. I hate getting roots and think it looks really unsightly, but a trip to the hairdressers will end up costing £30 at a minimum, money I would prefer to spend taking my kids to the pictures, or buying some food for the house, so I tend to try and find products to make my hair look better at home.
This was recommended to me by a friend and while shopping in asda a few weeks ago I came across this John Freida colour glaze from blonde hair for about £3.00 for a 250ml bottle and thought that I would give it a try.
This is designed for blonde hair, to try and make the colour last better and give it a nice shine.
I washed my hair twice (my hairdresser said you should always do it twice) then conditioned it as normal before applying this to my hair and leaving it for five minutes. I then rinsed it off and combed my hair.
After I had rinsed off the glaze, my hair looked instantly better and after drying it, it had a brilliant shine to it. I felt like I'd stepped out of a salon. It looked even beter once I had straightened it as well.
I was very pleased with the results and after I used it, a few people actually asked if I had had my hair done! This product is also available in brunette or darker hair colours so it can be used by everyone.
I'd definitely recommend this brilliant product. I thought that £3 was expensive for this at first, but after using it, it is definitely worth the money.

I liked this product initially but found it made my hair a bit lank if I used it a lot. Worth it for occasional use. :)

A bit more detail on application would be good, I am a little confused as you start off saying it is for your roots, but the suddenly change to say it is to save colour and add shine. Not sure where this review stands as i am confused..
