Wow! You all know I love my hair to look perfectly shiny from my last op on Sunsilk. Although Sunsilk did give me great looking hair, I have found something even better – John Frieda Sheer Blonde Shampoo & Conditioner!
This moisturising infusing shampoo has added highlight activators that after using, really bring out the true colours of your hair. After recently getting my hair highlighted with even more blonde put through it, this shampoo & conditioner really helps show them in their truest colour.
The product is formulated for dry, distressed Honey to Caramel blondes and contains aloe Vera which gently cleanses and restores silky suppleness to “burnt-out” blonde hair. It removes darkened colour to create a lighter, brighter and shinier effect.
With natural caramel, honey and wheatgerm extracts, this product can be used for natural, colour-treated or highlighted blonde hair.
Application -------------- Shampoo: Apply sheer blonde moisture infusing shampoo to wet hair and gently massage. Rinse thoroughly. Repeat if necessary. Avoid getting shampoo into eyes. If this occurs, rinse well with water. For best results, condition hair with sheer blonde conditioner.
Conditioner: Remove excess moisture and apply sheer blonde conditioner to wet hair, distributing evenly. Rinse thoroughly, avoid getting conditioner into eyes.
Packaging ------------- Both the shampoo and the conditioner is in one of they bottles with the lid on the bottom. A lot of information is placed on the front of the bottle and the only difference from the 2 is the fact that the shampoo is a gold coloured bottle, and the conditioner is in a clear bottle.
The actual product ----------------------- The product itself is rather thick. The shampoo is just a normal blondish colour and the conditioner is a creamy colour. The conditioner is a lot wetter than the shampoo but that is completely normal. The smell of the shampoo is a lot better than the conditioner. After using both though, your hair does smell nice after a shower/bath.
Results -------- I have to admit that like any product, you tend never to see the results instantly but never give up. Since this wasn’t cheap, I thought I best use it to get my moneys worth. After just one week of applying this to my hair daily, my hair looked at its best. I just loved to run my fingers through it when it is dry (which is very rare as my hair is usually lathered with gel and hairspray) I love this product and I get my dad to buy it each month and I believe there is a gift pack of Sheer Blonde so fingers crossed Santa has brought me it this Christmas.
Where to buy? ----------------- Well, I found this while shopping in Safeway and I have bought it also in the Coop down my local town centre. I believe you can buy this in any supermarket and probably the cheapest place to buy it is usually Asda. Never buy in the salon or your hairdressers as they are usually scandalous!
Well to all you Blondie’s out there who are like me and love their hair to look like a superstars, get out to your local store and purchase Sheer Blonde Shampoo & Conditioner for natural, colour-treated, or highlighted blondes!
Thanks for reading, Gareth xxx

I find this does make my less than natural highlights look better. I think it has improved the condition- and it's cheaper than the salon bought stuuf that i was using. Good review. Dx
Advantages: Does what it says Disadvantages: Price
