Got new job, at daughter's school - h'ray! I live on Romney Marsh, my daughter is 12, my partner is a racing driver and racing instructor. My neighbours are mostly sheep, ducks, swans, all manner of wild birds, rabbits and hares.

This review is more about the company than the product, although I do use and like Sheer Blonde shampoos and conditioners. They are blooming expensive, but look out for BOGOFs and offers, especially in Boots.
I would just like to say that although I have no trouble opening the shampoos in this range, I nearly always have real problems opening the conditioners! I've broken two nails, so now I prise them open with the nail brush or pumice stone. Anything rather than snap off another nail. Then, invariably, the whole top flies across the bathroom, inevitably followed by large blobs of conditioner. And once the whole lid assembly is off, it is then a right beggar opening it again. It's only a pop up lid, so I couldn't understand why I had so much trouble opening it.
So, after some months of this, I sat down and e-mailed John Frieda - not personally you understand, I just went to the website which is printed on the tube. "Is it just me" I said, and went on to explain the difficulty I had been experiencing. Well, this was about a week ago, and I had given up hearing and was about to sit down and e-mail them again telling them I didn't think much of their customer service!
Then, after a really hectic morning of taking the cat to the vet and driving 15 miles in the other direction then forgetting to take the cheque I was supposed to be paying in, I got home to find that the postman - not my regular one - had left a note saying that I had a package which was too big for my letterbox! My regular one leaves things like this in the greenhouse. So, off I went again to the small town I'd just returned from with the cat (he's ok, got an ulcer on his eye, poor thing), and collected my package.
Inside was a free tube of conditioner and a letter of apology!
In conclusion, I like these hair treatments, but more importantly, this company obivously takes notice when customers complain - although I didn't actually complain as such. It is nice to know that there is some good service out there. (I had a similar experience with Johnson and Johnson too.)
In response to a comment (sorry, forgotten who!). You get 230 ml, it's usually around 4 quid - as I said above, quite expensive, but it is very thick and I find I only need a small amount of conditioner, a blob about the size of a golf ball. I have below shoulder length hair and I find that's plenty. I also find I do not need as much shampoo as some other brands.
I have used several of John Frieda's products and they do all seem to 'do what it says on the tin'. Frizz-ease, Funky Chunky (apologies if the spelling's not quite right). My hairdresser, who also happens to be my best friend, has always recommended it. She doesn't have a salon, she works from home (our daughters grew up together - well, they're still growing). She is very knowledgeable about this type of stuff. Sometimes paying a bit extra reaps dividends.
Try it - they do shampoos and conditioners for other colour hair too. And look out for offers, especially in Boots, Tesco and Superdrug.

Always nice to hear of good customer service. I would only say about your review that it should be about the product rather than just the customer service, so maybe you could tell us a bit about how to use it, how much you get in a bottle, cost, do you use other products in the range etc.
Advantages: Does what it says Disadvantages: Price
