The machine itself has worked ok, apart from poor rinse performance which meant that we had to have the 'extra rinse' function selected permanently. I believe that the machine is based on a Zanussi model that has been re-branded as a John Lewis. The main benefit of this was an extra year's guarantee (3 years) above that offered if we had bought the Zanussi equivalent. In the end though, this was academic because the machine has started to fail after 4 years. The spin cycle has become very noisy and sounds like a jet plane taking off. The engineer has attended and told us that the drum bearing has failed. Unfortunately, due to the design of this machine, we are told that the whole (sealed) drum assembly must be replaced. This will cost almost £300 and is therefore uneconomical. We will now be forced to buy another machine just because of a worn bearing.
You could really update this review with a lot more info like the actual total spin speed, programmes, if there's a quick wash, total KG it takes, design/clarity of the panel etc as well as the cost price. I have the 1205 model which is a basic machine that does the job but it was advertised with the same 3 year guarantee as well as claiming to be economical - which turns out it isn't quite true. Adding more info here instead of a negative rant will get you higher ratings too.

What functions does it have? How much is it? Where can I buy it from?
