Intensive conditioner

Advantages: Good value, no fuss product
Disadvantages: None

This relatively little known product can be found tucked away on the shelves of Boots the Chemist, with all the other more famous shampoo brands and hair products. ~~PRODUCT RANGE Boots used to sell a product called hennara wax, which I believe is now discontinued, and have now launced a small range of 'intensive' conditioners. There is cammomile, henna and horsechestnut (for dry and damaged hair) and coconut, which is good for giving hair a silky feel. With natural extracts of coconut, Boots shampoo and conditioner claims it 'is specially formulated' to moisturise dry hair for 'softness, shine and tangle free' hair. There are also 'matching' shampoos in this mini-range, which I am also a fan of, also in horsechestnut, coconut and camomile, and are a good basic product. They cost around £1.30 ~~APPEARANCE ...

Caribbean Sensations Part 3: Intensive Conditioner

Advantages: Lovely Smell, Cheap, Thick
Disadvantages: Same outcome as conditioner

I intend to make the final part of my Caribbean Sensation reviews fairly brief in comparison to the other two. However firstly I would recommend you use this in conjunction with the Superdrug Naturals Coconut and Sweet Almond Shampoo priced at Approximately £1.49. You will find this conditioner on the shelves in Superdrug in a pot about 5inches in height by 3inches in width. You can see the product through it clear plastic pot though it does have a black label wrapped around the entire thing. The lid is also black and screws off just like a jam jar. This intensive conditioner claims to ?help restore moisture and shine? and is ?Ideal for dry/damaged hair?. The product itself is different to the shampoo, and conditioner in that it is very thick. I would identify this as a hair mask. The pot requires you to put your fingers in ...

Lovely Lavender

Advantages: pretty smells good
Disadvantages: none

Lavender-----------Lavendula The name lavendula is from the latin lavare, to wash. I smelt some lavender yesterday and thought ahhhhhh Lavender I have not written an opinion on you yet. So I have settled down to write one. Lavender is an herb I have strong childhood memories of. My parents live in a thatched cottage a semi attached to my grandparents who are now dead the garden was combined and we had a row of about 10 lavender plants they were under the washing line. I hadn't thought about it till recent years, but I suspect my granddad planted them there to scent the washing as it was drying. As a child (40 years ago) I remember picking the lavender and putting it in the airing cupboard wrapped up in a pillowcase to dry. When it had dried and the flowers fell of the stalks, my mother would sew little bags and we would stuff ...
