...I still watch cartoons, especially Johnny Bravo.
So then who, what, where and why? are 4 words that are probably on your lips right now and I´ll get the embarrassing task of answering them out of the way right now.
Who?
----
Johnny is a mommas boy, pure and simple - he lives at home with his beloved Momma and knows very little about anything in life.
Now Johnny has one main interest ... ...mandatory muscle-flexing moron that is Johnny Bravo.
What?

Its a cartoon, know that little screen sat in the corner that shows you the news , some movies and heaven forbid - your dose of the soaps, well it can also show you Cartoons, yes, yes, yes, I know they´re for kids, but the TV doesn´t know that you´re an Adult.

Who? ----
Johnny is a mommas boy, pure and simple - he lives at home with his beloved Momma and knows very little about anything in life.
Now Johnny has one main interest in his life - chicks (sorry to all female readers but this is his phrase, not mine), and this is the main basis of the cartoon, his inabiity to attract members of the opposite sex, well err he can attract them but for all the wrong reasons.
He does try to attract them, believe me he tries mainly through flexing his muscles at anything in a skirt, and to much hilarity, but then these aren´t the only features of the Cartoon, he also has an inept ability to get involved in any stupid wrong-doings, all of this accompanied with the mandatory muscle-flexing moron that is Johnny Bravo.
What? -----

I found out the above paragraph one wintery night in the year 2000, coming down the stairs at 2am because I couldn´t sleep I decided to switch on the satellite telly and see if I could find anything worth watching at that time in the morning, then before my eyes Johnny Bravo was on my screen.
What!? I asked, this isn´t TV, wheres the gritty realism, wheres the Actors, why is it just drawings with Actors voices dubbed in? thats when I regained my touch with Childhood, life isn´t too serious and this Cartoon is just an added part of that.
Where? ------
Why Cartoon Network of course, have a quick flick through thier listings and you should find an episode or two.
Not enough Bravo for ya? Then have a looksie at Channel 4 in the early hours of the morning, he can usually be spotted there as well.
Why? ----
Dunno, sorry, but nows where I introduce you to some of the rest of the cast -
Karl: Geek, Nerd, Idiot, the malaise of Johnny, hes into sci-fi (aren´t all nerds? myself included), and is always there or there-abouts ready to take even more abuse from Johnny.
Pops: The owner of the local cafe and confident of Johnny, always has a story of his own to assosciate with Johnnys situation, and of course always willing to help with anything that comes across.
Little Suzy: The girl next door, annoying brat who always gets on Johnnys nerves, but has her uses when it comes to showing the chicks Johnny´s sensitive side, by being a `Big Brother´ to her.
Momma: The name says it all, if nothing else Johnnys loyal to his Momma, no matter what happens he´ll always go home to his Momma, shes your stereotypical American housewife, different loves that all bring on a new storyline for Johnny to tackle.
On top of these four there have been `Cameo´ appearances from Donny Osmond, Adam West, Farrah Fawcett and the Devil himself, why the commas around Cameo? well the credits roll way too fast for anyone to check if they were involved or not and to be honest would they have assosciated themselves with this show?
Finally if you need any credentials as to whos behind it all, its a Hanna-Barbera cartoon, remember Tom & Jerry, that was a Hanna-Barbera cartoon and watching some of the scenes in Johnny Bravo give you the same feel as the world-famous Cat and Mouse cartoon.
Johnny Bravo is, or thinks he is, one of the sexiest men alive. Trying to ‘woo’ the girls and fixing his hair, his timetable is very busy. The only problem is, none of the girls want to go out with him, because he’s so stupid! So, he pesters them, and the results are, the girls use mace, pepper spray, punch him, throw him etc. You’d think that he would know better. This is a great cartoon, and I like it because it reminds me of this boy in my class. ...

Review of Johnny Bravo
Advantages: funny and animated Disadvantages: none
As Johnny bravo has just come back on cartoon network on sky digital I thought I would write something about him. Well here are some main characters and a brief description about them.
Characters Johnny Bravo- He's a Crazy Mama's Boy with a muscular build and gelled-to-perfection hair Johnny is impressed with himself and thinks everyone else is too. Unfortunately his lack of common sense and ego problem usually makes every chick he sees go running. ... ...is Johnny's "best friend" although Johnny denies it and gladly would give up his life in order to protect him (usually after Johnny does something to turn everyone else against him) and usually uses Johnny as a guinea pig in his experiments. Little Suzy- Little Suzy is the one girl to have a crush on Johnny. Although she is a constant nuisance Johnny is more tolerant with her then Carl. And if ever he hurts her, Johnny feels guilty and tries to fix ...

Johnny Bravo IS God!! He's hunky, sexy, suave, greased up and one for the ladeeeez. His cartoon is awesome!! As an adult, it's one of the few on the children-targeted Cartoon Network that I can really enjoy. It obviously has no adult topics or language or action, but it is still has enough of that slick comedy that seems to appeal to adults yet comes across as hilarious to kids as well. The stories are great, quite often about how Johnny, no matter ...

Advantages: The dude, the chat, the style Disadvantages: There are NOOOONNNNNE!
Heyyyy!! It's Johnny Bravo - the hippest coolest dude on this planet - or he thinks he is at any rate. Whatever, it's a pretty nifty cartoon with Mr Bravo the object of every serious babe's affection and longing. An altogether modern comic strip that's full of humour and self parody this is the type of thing that we should encorage because it's funny and loved by kids and parents. I'm not sure if my son thinks it's serious or not but he certainly ...

Advantages: Fun for all ages Disadvantages: Some episodes can get a bit boring, also Cartoon Network repeats a lot
This is a fun cartoon show, a light hearted comedy with a typical superhero vs. villain storyline, with the added twist of the superheroes being 3 little girls, with special powers, who were accidentally created by the Professor.
The villains are highly amusing, particularly "Mojo Jojo", any episode with him in is a classic. There are many others, including "The Amoeba Boys", "The Gangrene Gang" and the dreaded "Him", which appears to be some sort of red devil who wears tights and has a very dubious voice!
If you like other "Cartoon Cartoons" (such as "Cow and Chicken", "Dexter's Laboratory" and "JohnnyBravo") then there's an extremely good chance you'll like this!
Personally I think this is better than Cow & Chicken, but not as good as Dexter or Johnny :) ...

Advantages: OK selection Disadvantages: behind other channels
It seems that Channel 4 has decided that its target audience is lower in age than before. A lot of the prime time space is now filled with programmes that appeal to teens and young adults. Take for example T4. JohnnyBravo, Blunt, Hollyoaks, Making the Band, Futurama, Italian football and WWF Wrestling, all target the younger ages. This is probably because Channel 4 recognises that we are still in bed gone midday, and that we are likely to just lie there and watch TV! True!
Channel 4 still has Brookside for slightly more mature members of the population (well, I think so!) and Countdown and 15 to 1, but from 17:30, we are the target, and I love it! The programmes range from soaps to comedies to documentaries, to fun cartoons to sport and action. Channel 4?s Friday evenings do leave a bit to be desired compared to BBC2 now that Friends ...

Advantages: great shows Disadvantages: can't email
Cartoon Network Plus 1 is simply cartoon network but on hour later, this means that you cannot e-mail or telephone for competitions or any of the like. I tis home of all the great shows like JohnnyBravo and Dexters Lab. I like Dexters Lab best because it is like my life in away because I have an annoying sister like Dexter has. The best thing is it is on 24 hours of the day. Very one of my mates thing that the channel is crummy, but it is not ...
