Johnson & Johnson have been trusted by parents and health proffessionals for over 100 years, they are the world's largest manufacturers of healthcare products. All Johnson's products undergo clinical testing to make sure it is of the highest standards. Johnson's baby powder was introduced in 1890 and the original scent has never changed.
~~~~~ The product ~~~~~
The baby powder comes in a white bottle with blue writing on, the bottle has a twist lid which you turn anti-clockwise to open and clockwise to close. On the front of the bottle it says 'Johnson's baby powder', 'clinically proven mildness', 'Johnson & johnson' and the size of the bottle. On the back of the bottle it gives you all the information for the product. It says:
'BEST FOR BABY ~ Sprinkle johnson's baby powder onto your hands and smooth onto babys skin. This creates a smooth friction free layer to reduce the effect of rubbing and chafing, to keep baby's skin healthy and soft.'
'BEST FOR YOU ~ Use after a bath or shower to keep skin dry, smooth and fresh.'
It also tells you to keep away from children's nose and mouth, close lid after use and keep out of reach of children. Once opened the product should be used within 36 months, it is suitable for use on both adults and children.
~~~~~ What I think ~~~~~
I have tried different own brand types of talc but I always go back to using Johnson's as I think it is deffinately the best. I normally have 2 bottles open at a time, one upstairs in the bathroom for after the twins bath and one downstairs to sprinkle on after every nappy change. Johnsons baby powder has that typical nice baby smell, the way all baby's should smell. The powder is fine so it doesn't take a lot of rubbing in like some other talcs do and it doesn't clog nappies up if you use it at nappy changes like I do. I would deffinately reccommend using Johnson's powder as although it costs more than own brand powders it lasts a lot longer so probably works out cheaper in the long run and it smells nicer too.

I looked on boots.com, asda.co.uk and tesco.com and the powder was the same price from all these places though it is widely available from other shops.
