I have been wearing contacts for about a year now and over the past couple of months I have been suffering with eye infections. Previous to this, I had been wearing weekly disposable contact lenses and decided I would be better to change to daily disposable lenses to clear up my eye infection and to be honest, I quite like using the daily lenses.

These lenses also contain UV Blocking and are the only lenses on the market that offer this. The one day acuvue lenses have a 58% water content so they feel very natural to wear as they sit very comfortably in your eyes. These lenses are classed as soft lenses which means they are extremely thin and are made from materials that allow oxygen to pass through them and reach the eye surface, meaning your eyes are left to feel as natural as possible while wearing the lenses.
Packaging These contacts come in boxes of 30, which means you have 15 pairs of contacts. You can also buy them a box at a time which would mean you would get a box of 30 lenses for your right eye, and 30 for your left, meaning they would last you a month. The contact lenses come in a small plastic pod which have saline solution inside which the contact sits in. The pod is sealed and you only open it when you intend on putting the lenses into your eye.
Price When I buy these from my optician, they cost me a lot more than the price I pay online. I have recently started buying my contacts online from http://www.contactforlenses.com where they cost me £13.99 per box of 30 lenses which is fairly reasonable.
The Lenses Acuvue lenses are slightly tinted which I love as it means they are much easier to handle as you can actually see them. With my weekly disposables, because they are clear, it is always difficult to get them out of the solution as it is hard to see them with them being the same colour as the solution. The lenses also have 123 printed on the lense which enables you to tell with a quick glance whether the lenses are the correct way around. This again is another advantage to these as with the weekly disposables, you have to look at the lense and sort of guess which way round it goes (which can be kind of hard considering I cant see much without my contacts in. Personally I quite like the daily disposables. When I first decided to wear contacts, I liked the idea of the weekly disposable as it seemed to fit in better with my lifestyle - pop the lense in, and a week later, take it back out and dispose of it. However, it didn't quite work like that, the weekly lenses can get grimy which means you have to take them out and clean them and to be honest they are a lot more maintenance than they 1st seemed.
Summary I would highly recommend these lenses, they are relatively cheap and made by a trusted brand. They are comfortable to wear and also have the little added bonus of being tinted and having the 123 printed to ensure you place them on your eye the correct way round. You can get away with sleeping with these lenses in, for example, if you are going for a night out and forget to take them out when you get in, this wont cause any problems, but I do find that the lenses feel quite dry the next day. The other advantage to wearing daily lenses is that you do not need to pay out for contact solutions and contact cases as you do not need to store them overnight as you simply throw them away once you have taken them out.

When I was in primary seven I remember coming home and working up the courage to tell my mum I couldn't read the blackboard. I was so nervous because I really didn't want glasses, my sister had them and so did my mum and dad. I enjoyed being able to say I have perfect vision but it was all going to change.
I got an opticians appointment and right enough I was short sighted, I got a new pair of glasses and over time became more dependant on them ... ...them all the time. As I do karate it is hard to fight with glasses on and one by one my other family members where getting contact lenses. I really wanted them but was told I was too young.
When I was in S1 I got told that I was old enough now and was aloud contacts, I was so excited at the thought of it and couldn't wait until the appointment.
At the opticians I was told that 1-day disposable would be the best for me as I am only a kid and might ...

...I first heard about Johnson & Johnson one day acuvue when I got a letter through the post from my optician, there was a special offer of free 30 day trial when you had an eyesight test. The first time I tried these lenses I was amazed they where so light that I didn't feel a thing, I had always imagined I would feel the lenses in my eyes.
The beauty of these lenses are that you don't have to worry about cleansing soloutions etc. ideal for the busy ... ...day, there are other options such as monthly lenses which can be a bit cheaper although I don't know about the comfort of these lenses, and I stick with Johnson & Johnson because I like the quality of the lenses and I don't have the extra expense of cleaning soloutions. ...

I have been wearing some form of vision correction device since the age of nine. Which means I have been wearing glasses and contact lenses now for over 25 years.
When I first switched to contact lenses from glasses I was told I couldn't wear soft lenses because of my high astigmatism. They recommended rigid gas permeable lenses for me. Ofcourse I took this advice and decided to buy some. I wore gas permeable lenses every day for nearly eight years ... ...irritation. I also had to deal with the awful ritual of cleaning them and soaking them for at least eight hours a day and was advised to use protein remover tablets on them every week. The cleaning schedule was annoying not to mention the difficulties I had with rigid lenses in high winds, on the beach and the risk of them occasionally popping out.
Infact there was an occasion when i lost a lens down the sink whilst cleaning it and another occasion ...

When I was a little girl I always wanted to wear glasses. I can remember “borrowing” my fathers glasses and parading round “looking” at my distorted image in every mirror around. At the age of thirteen I can remember being disappointed when my optician sent me away saying I had perfect vision. At the age of 17 I got my wish! I was learning to drive and found it hard to read a number plate at the require distance, at last I ... ...always want what you can’t have. When I didn’t need glasses I wanted them and when I got them I hated them. I purchased two pairs of glasses at the same time and wore them as often as possible for a few months. Then I got bored with them and just wore them occasionally until they ended up stored away in a drawer and taken out as little as possible.
A few years on I knew my eyesight was deteriorating and that I should really be wearing ...

...and Aitchison branch suggested the Johnson & Johnson acuvue one day daily disposal lenses as the best there is, a bit expensive maybe but definitely worth the money you pay if you want quality.
So I’ve started using them and boy was there a difference!!! So comfortable, you don’t feel like you wearing contact lenses all day. My days are turned out to be very long from 7.30 in the morning till around 9 in the evening and most of that ... ...thing is that after two years of wearing those lenses my eyesight for the first time ever has slightly improved, something that I would have never expected to happen. So I definitely recommend the daily disposable contact lenses from Johnson & Johnson, for me, they are the best. ...

Dailies come in a wide variety of strengths to suit most prescriptions. They are also suitable for those with a low level of astigmatism, or if you usually wear bifocals - check with your optician first though. They also come in different colours if you fancy changing your eye colour for a bit.
Make sure you visit your optician for a contact lense check every 2 years, or more frequently if so advised.
**Cost**
I pay £25 for a months supply from my local optician, and buy them in a bulk of 3 months worth of lenses. A quick look on the internet has them at much the same price and they can also be delivered through the post by many online opticians.
**Other makes**
