I am 20, I have a daughter who is one. I'm not that good at writing reviews and I have just found the guest book bit-for some reason I can't work this site out-any help would be great (and patience!!!) Love Becci.

When I had my daughter, I bought all of the johnnson's products for her-only the best for my baby, or so I thought. She had quite dry and flakey skin so naturally I turned to the johnnsons baby lotion. It was disgusting. It was far too thick and heavy for a baby. The extremely strong smell isn't even particularly nice. If you can imagine the smell of baby lotion, only multiplied so many times, it smelt like it needed diluting! No matter how much I used, it didn't seem to rub in well, it was too thick for a delicate little baby's skin. The smell seemed to linger forever and the lotion itself seemed like a led weight!! I wouldn't say it was suitabe for a baby as they need somrthing light and quickly absorbed on their skin. On the upside though, I would say it may be okay for adults skin, however it is very expensive and it isn't exactly excellent, there are things next to it on the shelves which are cheaper and just as good if not better. The best thing I found to use on my daughter is wilkinsons lavender massage gel-she loves it too!!

I use this for myself and really like it - I suppose it works differently on everyone!

My health visitor advised against using any of these Johnsons products on a new baby as they all have perfume which isn't good for a baby's skin. It is strange that they do this.

Both my children have had reactions to these products! Not bad for a first op:) Read some other ops and get a feel for how most people write their opinions and it will help you improve.
