I have been using Johnson's Baby Lotion for as long as I remember. It is one of the beauty products that I used when I was little that I still use now a days.
It is really nice to use on your skin. I use it as an all over body moisturiser for when I get out of the shower. I think Johnson's baby lotion is one of the beauty staples that every girl needs!
It is widely available at most supermarkets, chemists and department stores like Boots. It is also available online at websites such as Boots.com
The cost of the lotion is around £3.50 for a 500ml bottle.
The bottle itself is very cute and simple. It comes in baby pink plastic with a lable on the front saying 'Johnson's Baby Lotion' and then the Johnson and Johnson logo at the bottom. The lid of the bottle is a flip top so that you can easily open it and squeeze the lotion out, though it is also possible to unscrew the lid too.
The lotion itself smells a bit like talc powder and matches the colour of the outside of the bottle, it is a wonderful baby pink colour!
The ingredients in the lotion are: Water, Propylene Glycol, Myristyl Myristate, Glyceryl Stearate, Oleic Acid, Stearic Acid, Polysorbate 61, C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, Dimethicone, Isopropyl Palmitate, Sorbitan Stearate, Cetyl Alcohol, Synthetic Beeswax, Stearyl Alcohol, Benzyl Alcohol, Carbomer, Fragrance, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Butylparaben, BHT, Sodium Hydroxide and Red 33.
I like this lotion because it is easy to apply and it is versatile. It is a good lotion for any age group and it is even suitable for new born babies! It is quickly absorbed by your skin and makes it feel so soft! It doesn't feel oily once it has been applied, like some body lotions do. It is really gentle (since it is made for babies) so it does not irritate my skin at all and makes it feel really moisturised.
I absolutely love this lotion and would highly recommend it. Cheap and effective and mild and gentle on your skin (and who doesn't want baby soft skin?) I think it is a beauty essential.
