No more dry patches, and the scarring had dramatically improved, or at least much better than with those expensive products they sell in beauty shops.

I don't have a baby. But I have first hand experience of Johnson's baby nappy cream. My face was ridden with scars and dry patches, caused by either acne or acne products (both actually). I was so desperate, that after having tried different products for that purpose to no avail, I once thought if this is good enough for babies bottom it will be good enough for my face. I, myself, had kind of hit the bottom self-esteem wise so I assumed it was quite relevant. And the amazing thing is : it worked, it actually worked. No more dry patches, and the scarring had dramatically improved, or at least much better than with those expensive products they sell in beauty shops. On the downside it did give me a few pimples at the time because it is quite greasy for the face, (and if you leave it as a "spot mask" overnight don't move too much because your pillowcase will remember it for long -they still bear those stains after a few months), but I couldn't care less. My face was living again. I also put it on some irritation I had on my inner thighs, due to the friction and summer heat ( you know: it is hot, you wear a dress, and you suffer for a few days swearing you will never attempt to wear one again before losing those big fat lumps) and was eventually able to stop suffering and able to sleep a quiet night, like a baby. Anyway, if it works half as well as a nappy cream as it did as a face saver, it is definetly quite a catch: I will not forget about it when I too will be a mummy. And I will also try to remember to put some on my baby's bottom, to allow it to be as smooth as my face.

Quick review of Johnsons Baby Nappy Rash Cream
I wouldn't put this on my baby or myself. It is full of chemicals and petroleum derivatives, perfume and god knows what else. Not only it doesn't help, it is actually harmful in the long term - zinc oxide, parabens, perfume - all toxic. Just buy a natural cream, at least you know that what soaks in your baby's body (because it does through the skin) is not harmful, and they really do help in a natural way. ...

Advantages: fast acting soothing smells nice Disadvantages: none
Before my daughter was born I had stocked up on sudacream, I had used it at work in a nursing home and found it quite good. However when my daughter developed a nappy rash I used it for a couple of days without success. My mother-in-law had bought me some Johnson's Nappy Rash Cream so I thought I would give it a go.
I was very suprised by the reaction, within 24hours her sore bottom was much improved. Within 48hours her skin was clear. I havn't ...

Advantages: fast acting, soothing Disadvantages: ingredients include various chemicals
Like any parent, I hoped my baby would not get nappy rash, and tried my best to stop it happening at all, but after playing on a beach she got sand in her nappy, and it made her little bottom very sore!
I had received a sample of Johnson's Baby Nappy Rash Cream in my Bounty Pack, so, although I felt dubious about its "fast acting" claims, I thought I would try it.
I was extremely impressed. It worked vey quickly. By the next day she was a lot less ... ...day. I have used it since then if she has had any sore bits, and I'm really pleased with it.
Just use a very small amount. It goes a long way, and spreads easily. It washes off your hands easily too. In fact, I haven't bought any yet, I'm still using the free sample! ...

...I turn immediately to the Johnsons Nappy Rash Cream.
You can buy it in a tube or a tub and I prefer the tube.
If I apply it as soon as I notice any redness and then again at the next nappy change the redness is usually gone by the third change. I think that this is good stuff. ...

This brand also seems to be acknowledged as the best one to use by hospitals and baby clinics. I went to the clinic with my cousin last week with her son (my Godson) to be weighed and he has a little nappyrash and the midwife there told my cousin to use the Johnson's NappyRashCream when changing him and Baby Talc for when he comes out of the bath.

Johnson's baby lotion is Hypoallergenic, allergy and dermatologist-tested, which for me is great because I have got sensitive skin. There are not many products, which I can use which leave me without a rash or itching like ive got scabies. So if you do have sensitive skin, be assured you can use Johnson's baby lotion.
Oh and instead ...
Advantages: Smell fresh and clean Disadvantages: Not always for sensitive skin.

This is for if your baby is bunged up. I used this last year and found it to be very good. Yet when he was bunged up this winter and I visited my Boots superstore could not find it anywhere. So I dropped some Carvol into the running water and to be honest worked just the same.
