I don't have a baby. But I have first hand experience of Johnson's babynappy cream. My face was ridden with scars and dry patches, caused by either acne or acne products (both actually). I was so desperate, that after having tried different products for that purpose to no avail, I once thought if this is good enough for babies bottom it will be good enough for my face. I, myself, had kind of hit the bottom self-esteem wise so I assumed it was quite relevant. And the amazing thing is : it worked, it actually worked. No more dry patches, and the scarring had dramatically improved, or at least much better than with those expensive products they sell in beauty shops. On the downside it did give me a few pimples at the time because it is quite greasy for the face, (and if you leave it as a "spot mask" overnight don't move too much because your pillowcase will remember it for long -they still bear those stains after a few months), but I couldn't care less. My face was living again. I also put it on some irritation I had on my inner thighs, due to the friction and summer heat ( you know: it is hot, you wear a dress, and you suffer for a few days swearing you will never attempt to wear one again before losing those big fat lumps) and was eventually able to stop suffering and able to sleep a quiet night, like a baby. Anyway, if it works half as well as a nappy cream as it did as a face saver, it is definetly quite a catch: I will not forget about it when I too will be a mummy. And I will also try to remember to put some on my baby's bottom, to allow it to be as smooth as my face.

Welcome to Ciao, I've found plain old vaseline is good for dry skin to, though very greasy so you have to apply it at night and sleep with it, interesting to know that nappy cream works too! I've got a 3 month old who has luckily had no signs of nappy rash so far but that does mean I have an unopened tub f nappy cream! Have fun here, Emma :)
