Naked twister? What is all that about and what’s it got to do with baby oil?
Well when I was a student, all those many moons ago, well 4 years ago when I was in my second year at University to be precise, one of my flatmates asked me if we could play twister.
So out comes the board and the matt and we are about to play when Claire suggests we spice it up! OO-er missus.
So out comes the baby oil splashed all over the mat of twister and off we go, strip twister with an added twist. (oh and yes we had all been drinking when this was thought of).
Now as we were playing 3 girls against 3 boys and we all had to live together in a 'Little house on the Prairie' style household, the only rules were you couldn’t loose your underwear, and thank god for that rule is all I will say....
So off we went to play this game of twister and the matt was soaked in baby Oil and every time you lost your hand or footing on the matt you had to remove a piece of clothing and trust me it is quite tricky to get into some positions with oil everywhere and it proved to be very interesting when people got into compromising situations!! I will say no more!
However, as I have left you all with wicked idea's of things to do on a Friday night I’ll get back to the subject - Johnson's Baby Oil.
(“,) Back to the point (“,)
I have very dry skin all year round and nothing I have ever tried has cured it. Ive tried some of the most expensive creams around, been on courses of anti-biotics and have even tried medical creams but nothing has ever cured the problem.
The dry skin is on the back of my legs and it is often very itchy, no it isn’t Eczema either, just dry patches of skin. So moaning to my mum about it in a conversation a few years ago, she suggested i tried Johnson's Baby oil after I had been in the shower and surprise surprise after a month or so of using it after every showering it began to reduce the dry skin on my legs.
(“,) How to get oiled up (“,)
After showering, the best thing to do is to apply the baby oil, quite liberally to wet legs and skin to allow it to lock in all the moisture possible. The Baby Oil feels quite greasy on your hands when you are applying it, but most of the oil does rub into your skin.
According to the bottle it locks in 10 times more moisture and I personally have never had to use any other creams alongside Johnson’s baby Oil to keep my legs silky smooth and I only ever use it after I have been in the shower, which is every other day.
(“,) Other uses (“,)
Note for the girlies - (You can also use Johnson’s baby Oil to remove eye make-up, something I found out recently after watching a programme about applying your make-up on the television.)
Johnson’s baby Oil has been around for years, I have always used their baby Lotion as my moisturising lotion instead of buying all this expensive stuff; it works for me so what is the point in changing it.
(“,) Where can I buy it and how much does it cost (“,)
The Baby Oil can be found in almost all supermarkets, pharmacies, baby shops and places like Boots and Superdrug, retailing between £1.85 (in my local chemist) to £2.99 for 200ml.
(“,) What does the bottle look like (“,)
The bottle is a clear plastic bottle with a pink coloured flip lid and it contains clear liquid inside. It is labelled quite clearly with the Johnson’s logo and baby oil so that you know what it is and who it is manufactured by.
(“,) The Smell (“,)
It’s quite hard to describe the smell of this baby oil because it doesn’t rarely have a distinctive smell, to me it smells like it feels. I would associate the smell with babies, so it is kind of a sweet smell.
The ingredients worth noting are "paraffinum liquidum" which if you look up on Google like I just did it mentions it as a relief for constipation, but this product is strictly for external use only.
(",) The feel (",)
This baby oil feels much nicer if you warm it up slightly before you use it. Which i always do.
It does feel greasy until it is absorbed into your skin, but the feel afterwards is amazingly soft.
(“,) What’s more (“,)
One further point is that Johnson’s baby oil is hypoallergenic so it can be used on all kinds of skin, including mine, which is very sensitive to perfumed materials.
(“,) Conclusion (“,)
Baby Oil for me is a life saver and a blooming great moisturising lotion, I don’t have to shell out hundreds of pounds a year to keep my skin baby soft and smooth, instead I go to my local chemist and buy a bottle of Johnson’s Baby Oil which lasts for a few months at a time and all for the bargain price of £1.85.
This product is not only for the use of babies and young children, it can be used for adult as I just told you and what’s more, if you skin is really suffering apply liberally everywhere after a warm shower, it is much more affective if used when the skin is damp or wet.
(",) NEW NEW NEW (",)
Thank god for the new Baby Oil Spray... it can reach parts you have never been able to reach before. It is also non-greasy and comes in a 200ml bottle and all for the bargain price of £1.99 (in superdrug) ive been and bought some today.... whose first?
Advantages: create a bond between the child and parent Disadvantages: pricey, a bit slippery
As some of you may know by now, we have been blessed by the birth of a second daughter. Everything is going fine so far but it took us time to get organised between the two girls. It has been very rare for me to be able to sit down in front of the computer and surf a bit. But whenever I can I always try to read few opinions and give ratings.
Today I decided to forget about all the things that need being done and write a review about babies, mainly ... ...birth that I have massaged Leah and I can see now she is clearly enjoying it. You should see the smile she gives us when her feet are getting rubbed. Her facial expressions have never been so distinct.
Let’s start by giving the properties of Johnson’s baby oil:
Ingredients:
-Perfume
-Paraffinum liquidum. It is clear, odourless oil derived from petroleum that is widely used in cosmetics because it rarely causes allergic reactions and can’t become ...

Advantages: Great for massages, Moisturizer & Make up remover Disadvantages: None really
Johnson’s Baby Oil has been around for donkey’s of years and I remember when our two children were born this was always the oil that we used on them. Many years on and it is still an integral part of our medicine cabinet. The original concept of baby oil is that it has been made considering the delicate nature of babies and their skin in particular. It is ideal for massaging the baby and for cradle cap. It is also ideal for use by adults. ... ...me by my wife). It seems to make the massage a more satisfying experience and provide more penetration than other oils. I have also used it on several occasions when I had some chapping between my toes. It worked wonderfully well and provided very prompt results. My wife uses it frequently as a moisturizer and for removing her make up and according to her there is nothing like it. According to the stats Johnson’s Baby Oil is a clinically proven ...

Advantages: Locks In All Moisture, Stops Dry, Itchy Skin Disadvantages: When Applying Bottle Can Slip Out Of Hands
Johnsons Baby Oil.
I use this oil on my daughter who suffers from eczema and i also use it a few times a week to help keep my skin 'glowing' The bottle of oil comes in a clear bottle with a pink lid and has written on the front in blue' johnsons baby oil' at the top, in the middle ' clinically proven mildness' and at the bottom it has the johnsons+johnsons logo.
Sizes of bottles vary. The bottle that is sitting right in front of me as i write this ... ...bought johnsons gift set...only because it was £10 from £25. Anyways 200 ml bottles can range from £1.95 and about £2.49 for a 300ml bottle.
When using this on my daughter i put one or two drops in her warm bath it really does work and now her eczema is not that bad...not gone fully but really does help....i put it in her bath 3/4 times a week. Have to be careful about doing this though as it can make the bath a little slippy.
When i use it....i ...

Advantages: gets rid of dry skin, good for removing eye make -up, great for enhancing a tan, cheap. Disadvantages: can be a little tricky to get the oil out of the bottle without spilling at first.
Almost everyone has heard of the Johnson's brand, their lotion, shampoo, and baby oil being the most famous, as well as this, a lot of people know these products are not just for babies, the lotion alone has been popular with adults and celebrities for a long time. The shampoo has proved almost as popular too, I've used it and been very impressed, but what I'm writing about today is Johnson's baby oil, another great product more people should try.
... ...a friend. I used to get patches of skin on my arms and legs that would be very dry, this was especially a problem when it came to fake tanning (darker patches of tan on the dry areas - not a good look). This was very frustrating for me, as I've always taken good care of my skin, moisturising every day, yet still the problem persisted. Like I said, I was impressed by Johnson's baby lotion and shampoo, so when a friend suggested using this, I thought ...

Advantages: Leaves Baby Silky Smooth To The Touch. Disadvantages: Must Be Applied Right After Bath Or You Will Have A Slightly Sticky Baby.
...I was given JohnsonsBabyOil Gel Lavender as a gift during my baby shower and, after using the product for the first time I can tell you I will purchase again in the near future
The JohnsonsBabyOil Gel Lavender helps lock in moisture so your skin will stay soft and silky smooth all day. This product contains a fast absorbing formula that won't leave a greasy after feel. Also this product has been dermatologist and allergy tested.
What I like most about this product is that it helps prevent chafing and getting rid of skin rashes on my baby while leaving her silky smooth. I also love the Lavender scent that isn't overbearing and helps calm baby down before bedtime.
What I didn't like about this product was it is best applied right after a bath otherwise you may end up with a slightly sticky baby....

Advantages: leaves your skin soft, can be used for different things, everyone can use it Disadvantages: very runny, if the oil is dropped on your clothes you got to wash it!
...Johnson's babyoil has been around for many years and I am sure it was probably used on me as well when I was a baby.
It has been manufactured mainly concentrating on babies although it can be used by anyone.
I have a one year old little brother and we have always used JohnsonJohnsonbabyoil on him.
When it is time to bath him we just let loose a few drops of the babyoil in his bath and we wash him as normal. His skin always looks soft after the bath, to get his skin extra soft we also use it as lotion on his body by applying more onto his skin after the bath.
You might think that it's oil so therefore his skin is going to be greasy afterwards, but this wasn't the result, the babyoil just evaporated leaving his skin looking extra soft to the eye and touch. My little brother's skin would stay soft the whole day, therefore...

...This review is about JohnsonsBabyOil Gel.
This product is sooo cool and innovative and recall seeing it advertised possibly three to four years ago max.
The ad on tv shows cute babies looking very surprised about this product "a gel"? They had the most cute faces!!!
The first version I bought was the camomile one which I did finish some time ago and now I am currently using a different version I bought in Italy (which I never saw round here) called Fresh Blossoms or "Fiori Freschi".
I love looking at beauty products in other countries as sometimes they stock versions we do not have in here, just to give you an idea I get a caffeine-free version of Coca Cola when I go to Spain or Italy as they do not have it here, I am very sensitive to caffeine an it gives me palpitations therefore I need to avoid it. The version they have in...
