Johnson’s Baby Oil has been around for donkey’s of years and I remember when our two children were born this was always the oil that we used on them.
Many years on and it is still an integral part of our medicine cabinet.
The original concept of baby oil is that it has been made considering the delicate nature of babies and their skin in particular. It is ideal for massaging the baby and for cradle cap.
It is also ideal for use by adults. I personally use it in my weekly massage (given to me by my wife). It seems to make the massage a more satisfying experience and provide more penetration than other oils. I have also used it on several occasions when I had some chapping between my toes. It worked wonderfully well and provided very prompt results.
My wife uses it frequently as a moisturizer and for removing her make up and according to her there is nothing like it.
According to the stats Johnson’s Baby Oil is a clinically proven hypoallergenic, which means that is absorbs quickly and seals the skin pores, thus holding in (retaining) 10 times more moisture than many other lotions and creams. Not bad for something that’s meant to be for babies.
The bottles come in a transparent soft plastic and the oil is in a natural water white colour. We regularly purchase the 500ml bottles and they cost £3.00 each. They are also available in 300ml bottles. Considering that this will last you ages this is not a very expensive product.
Other brands of baby oils are available but I personally cannot see anyone being able to beat the quality of Johnson’s as far as Baby Oil is concerned. They are the pioneers in this product have been making this long before anyone else.
I do not think there is anything much more to say about this product that has not already been said in this op. The only thing that I can conclude with is to say that this is a wonderful high quality product that can be used for a variety of purposes and is something worthwhile to have at home, for everyone.

Surprisingly versatile product, but I must say I didn't like the idea of using a mineral-based oil on a newborn, so we used coconut oil for baby massage. I still have big bottle of Johnsons somewhere so will try it as a make up remover, ta for the tip! Cazz xx
Advantages: gets rid of dry skin, good for removing eye make -up, great for enhancing a tan, cheap. Disadvantages: can be a little tricky to get the oil out of the bottle without spilling at first.
