Naked twister? What is all that about and what’s it got to do with baby oil?
Well when I was a student, all those many moons ago, well 4 years ago when I was in my second year at University to be precise, one of my flatmates asked me if we could play twister.
So out comes the board and the matt and we are about to play when Claire suggests we spice it up! OO-er missus.
So out comes the baby oil splashed all over the mat of twister and off we go, strip twister with an added twist. (oh and yes we had all been drinking when this was thought of).
Now as we were playing 3 girls against 3 boys and we all had to live together in a 'Little house on the Prairie' style household, the only rules were you couldn’t loose your underwear, and thank god for that rule is all I will say....
So off we went to play this game of twister and the matt was soaked in baby Oil and every time you lost your hand or footing on the matt you had to remove a piece of clothing and trust me
it is quite tricky to get into some positions with oil everywhere and it proved to be very interesting when people got into compromising situations!! I will say no more!
However, as I have left you all with wicked idea's of things to do on a Friday night I’ll get back to the subject - Johnson's Baby Oil.
(“,) Back to the point (“,)
I have very dry skin all year round and nothing I have ever tried has cured it. Ive tried some of the most expensive creams around, been on courses of anti-biotics and have even tried medical creams but nothing has ever cured the problem.
The dry skin is on the back of my legs and it is often very itchy, no it isn’t Eczema either, just dry patches of skin. So moaning to my mum about it in a conversation a few years ago, she suggested i tried Johnson's Baby oil after I had been in the shower and surprise surprise after a month or so of using it after every showering it began to reduce the dry skin on my legs.
After showering, the best thing to do is to apply the baby oil, quite liberally to wet legs and skin to allow it to lock in all the moisture possible. The Baby Oil feels quite greasy on your hands when you are applying it, but most of the oil does rub into your skin.
According to the bottle it locks in 10 times more moisture and I personally have never had to use any other creams alongside Johnson’s baby Oil to keep my legs silky smooth and I only ever use it after I have been in the shower, which is every other day.
(“,) Other uses (“,)
Note for the girlies - (You can also use Johnson’s baby Oil to remove eye make-up, something I found out recently after watching a programme about applying your make-up on the television.)
Johnson’s baby Oil has been around for years, I have always used their baby Lotion as my moisturising lotion instead of buying all this expensive stuff; it works for me so what is the point in changing it.
(“,) Where can I buy it and how much does it cost (“,)
The Baby Oil can be found in almost all supermarkets, pharmacies, baby shops and places like Boots and Superdrug, retailing between £1.85 (in my local chemist) to £2.99 for 200ml.
(“,) What does the bottle look like (“,)
The bottle is a clear plastic bottle with a pink coloured flip lid and it contains clear liquid inside. It is labelled quite clearly with the Johnson’s logo and baby oil so that you know what it is and who it is manufactured by.
(“,) The Smell (“,)
It’s quite hard to describe the smell of this baby oil because it doesn’t rarely have a distinctive smell, to me it smells like it feels. I would associate the smell with babies, so it is kind of a sweet smell.
The ingredients worth noting are "paraffinum liquidum" which if you look up on Google like I just did it mentions it as a relief for constipation, but this product is strictly for external use only.
(",) The feel (",)
This baby oil feels much nicer if you warm it up slightly before you use it. Which i always do.
It does feel greasy until it is absorbed into your skin, but the feel afterwards is amazingly soft.
(“,) What’s more (“,)
One further point is that Johnson’s baby oil is hypoallergenic so it can be used on all kinds of skin, including mine, which is very sensitive to perfumed materials.
(“,) Conclusion (“,)
Baby Oil for me is a life saver and a blooming great moisturising lotion, I don’t have to shell out hundreds of pounds a year to keep my skin baby soft and smooth, instead I go to my local chemist and buy a bottle of Johnson’s Baby Oil which lasts for a few months at a time and all for the bargain price of £1.85.
This product is not only for the use of babies and young children, it can be used for adult as I just told you and what’s more, if you skin is really suffering apply liberally everywhere after a warm shower, it is much more affective if used when the skin is damp or wet.
(",) NEW NEW NEW (",)
Thank god for the new Baby Oil Spray... it can reach parts you have never been able to reach before. It is also non-greasy and comes in a 200ml bottle and all for the bargain price of £1.99 (in superdrug) ive been and bought some today.... whose first?

Great stuff, has many other uses too, lol.
Also if you pour a few drops in the bath, it also makes your skin lovely and soft when you get out, but dont put your hair in the bath cos your hair gets greasy!!!!!!

Advantages: leaves your skin soft, can be used for different things, everyone can use it Disadvantages: very runny, if the oil is dropped on your clothes you got to wash it!
