I use this oil on my daughter who suffers from eczema and i also use it a few times a week to help keep my skin 'glowing'
The bottle of oil comes in a clear bottle with a pink lid and has written on the front in blue' johnsons baby oil' at the top, in the middle ' clinically proven mildness' and at the bottom it has the johnsons+johnsons logo.
Sizes of bottles vary. The bottle that is sitting right in front of me as i write this review is only a small 100ml bottle....this is because i bought johnsons gift set...only because it was £10 from £25. Anyways 200 ml bottles can range from £1.95 and about £2.49 for a 300ml bottle.
When using this on my daughter i put one or two drops in her warm bath it really does work and now her eczema is not that bad...not gone fully but really does help....i put it in her bath 3/4 times a week. Have to be careful about doing this though as it can make the bath a little slippy.
When i use it....i rub it in on wet skin and pat dry. It feels a little greasy while putting it on but once it is all rubbed in it makes your skin nice and smooth and soft. Leaves you looking glowing. The oil locks in 10x more moisture then other products.
The tricky thing is when you apply it and pick up the bottle for more oil, it can slip out of your hands....
The smell is clean, fresh and sweet smelling....smells like a new clean baby.
This product is also a good make-up remover and perfect for giving your little child a massage to help colic or just if they like it.
Do not use on open wounds as it can sting and not to be used before going out into the sun as it attracts the sun and you can get burnt...however you can use it after you have been in the sun and it will give you that lovely glowing look aswel as it locking in all the moisture.
On the back of the bottle it tells you that is has been clinically tested with dermatologists, it is colourant and preservative free and also used for cradle cap...(if only i knew this when my daughter was a little younger)
Advantages: gets rid of dry skin, good for removing eye make -up, great for enhancing a tan, cheap. Disadvantages: can be a little tricky to get the oil out of the bottle without spilling at first.
