Johnson's baby extra care baby wipes with aloe and willowherb, the one thing that I hated about the Johnson's wipes was that overpowering smell, this meant that even if they were giving them away I couldn't take them home .
Yesterday I found these new wipes on special, £1.99 in Safeway instead of £2.99, so me in desperate need of wipes thought I would give Johnson's another chance and I am glad I did.
I don't seem to get through many wipes these days but I always run out just when I need them the most so I try to keep an extra packet in hand.
The smell is a little too strong but its a really nice smell I can only smell the aloe because I don't know what the willow herb smells like, but as well as the smell they are so soft, very strong and just the right wetness i.e. not too wet and not too dry, which means they are wet enough to get rid of the worst dirty bums and leave the skin refreshed and clean.
What more could you ask for in a baby wipe, well I like to wipe my hands with them if there are no taps available nearby and these are brilliant because they make your hands smell lovely and leave them soft and smooth too.
I will be buying these again I might alternate them with the Huggies wipes that I love. They are quite large so you don't need as many as supermarket own brands.
I would say that these would be perfect for the newborn's skin but the other reason I don't like Johnson's products normally is that as a baby my son was allergic to them, his skin used to come out in a rash whenever I used their products, but this one might be different.
You get 64 wipes in the packet I bought, try them but watch out on newborn's skin as its extra sensitive.
Hopefully I won't be buying wipes for much longer!! My daughter is 22 months old and I am hoping that she will be potty trained soon.
**Info for parents to be** Just in case you are not a parent, or are a parent to be, I will explain what I think is the criteria for a good baby wipe, they have to be large - if they are too small then you get annoyed and to use lots more espcially when wiping a dirty bum. They have to be damp but not wet - by this I mean they have to be wet enough to remove everything easily but some wipes are too wet and they are difficult to use. They have to be strong - so they do not rip when wiping bums. They also have to be soft - if they are too rough they will stratch your babies bum or add to the nappy rash or soreness they already have. For me they have to smell nice or not at all - the sensitive ones that are un perfumed are all right when you don't like the smell of that brand. So taking all that into consideration I give these wipes 10/10 for all these, a great wipe.
Recommend.

Amanda
