If you have trouble getting your little bub off to sleep at night's try this. We went for months using the normal Johnson baby bath. Don't get me wrong, it's really nice but I wanted something that would help settle little Jamie before dropping off to the land of nod, so I opted for the Lavender & Camomile version of my favourite brand. I'd seen it advertised on TV loads before I even thought to buy it. Someone suggested that I give it a go, so I thought why not. The next time I was tootling my way around my local Asda I picked up the Extra Value Pack of the Lavender & camomile bedtime bath to give it a go as reconmended.
The packaging is very nice, a big purple plastic bottle (that Jamie loves to play with in the bath), with the famous Johnson's Baby logo that we all know so very well. The bottle comes with a handy flip open no-mess lid. Useful if your trying to do everything one handed as most mom's usually are!!! As this bottle is an Extra Value Pack, it states this in big letters on the top of the front label. It also tells you that this bottle is a New Look bottle but with the same great formula! Your told that this product helps to calm and relax baby, and with a no more tears formula what could be more perfect? This product provides Gentle Relaxation with the aroma of Lavender and camomile.
Instructions on how to use Johnsons baby bedtime bath can be found on the reverse of the bottle. All you need to do is simply add to running bath water, preferabley warm water, and swirl with hand to mix evenly. How much more simple do you want it?
Best for Baby: Of course Johnson's do boast that 8/10 british midwives use Johnson's on their own children. Johnson's claim that this particular product of theirs makes baby's bathtime an even more relaxing experience to help baby drift peacefully off to sleep.
Best for you: Of course, you can't just buy something this nice for your little one, you should indulge yourself occasionally too you know! Johnson's claim that this product provides a soothing bath that cares for even adults sensitive skin and help's to relax our bodies! Much needed at times believe me!
Having clinically proven mildness and being ph balanced you really can't argue with the effects of Johnson's baby Bedtime bath on baby and you. I find it very realxing for both myself and Jamie.
The aroma is intoxicating, nicely mild, but not mild enough to not be able to smell it. Of course it's a lot stronger if your sniffing the bottle lid like I am at the moment (be cafeful not to sniff it up your nose - I've done that before)! But it fills your whole bathroom and i find the upstairs or the house with such a smooth and pleasant smell, absolutely gorgeous if you ask me! Who needs air fresher? The thick smooth liquid is transparent so it can be difficult to tell if you've put too much in to your bath, but hey ho, it's so nice do you really care anyway? The more the merrier!!
The only thing I find dissapointing about Johnson's Baby Bedtime Bath is that you don't get many bubbles, but saying that, this product is designed with babies in mind not just us adults. You do get a few sparse bubbles at the start of your bath which Jamie loves to burst and splash in so it's perfect for him. But I find that five minutes into my bath that they have all vanished. I'll just have to put more baby bath into my bath I suppose won't I?! If could ask Johnson's to do one thing with this product it would be to make the bubbles more substantial But it's a brilliant product if you've had a hard day at work or lookng after the kids. This with a nice glass of wine and a box of chocolates in the bath, could it get any better?
This product of Johnson's Baby Bedtime Bath is 750 ml, last's for 12 months after opening and the packaging can be recycled. (please recycle if you can). At approximately £3.99 for a large bottle it's not too bad value for money. Although I'm sure you can purchase other products similar to this a little cheaper I think I'm going to stick with this, for now at least!
