Life was simply awful before I was recommended Johnson's Kids Detangling Spray. Every time I combed my daughter's long and very curly hair I am sure that the neighbours, if not the whole village, thought I was being cruel to her. In fact judging from the sound of her screams I felt cruel doing it. Anyway hair combing is a much more peaceful event in our house now thanks to this product. I had better tell you more about it so here goes:

Johnson's Kids Detangling Spray is packaged in a yellow, pump-action spray 150ml bottle, costs £1.99 and lasts for months.
You can use this product on wet hair. First shampoo and rinse then towel dry. Then spray the detangling spray evenly all over the hair and comb through any tangles. This works brilliantly and you do not even have to pull on any tangles. There is no need to wash the spray out of the hair either!
To use on dry hair just apply the spray to any tangled areas and comb through tangles. Again this works very well and hair dries very quickly (after being dampened by spray) if using this method.
As this product is made by Johnson's there is also the added benefit of it being made from only pure and mild ingredients, therefore, it is gentle on the hair and does not sting the eyes. Talking of eyes this product has saved us from so many tears (yes me too out of frustration) that now I find it a joy to comb my daughter's hair into many different styles.
If you are interested in buying this detangling spray then I have found it available in Boots and Tesco's but most Chemists should stock it.
By the way I am also sure that this spray would work well on adults hair too should you need it!! Anyway thanks for reading and happy combing!

With having 2 daughters hair brushing was a nightmare, then we bought Johnson's Detangling Spray. When used properly it does the job very well but you may find that you have to wash the childs hair more often as it leaves a film on the hair, this is obviously to detangle it. You have to make sure that you keep it out of the way of the children because it does not work on the hair of Girls world or Barbie Dolls as my girls found out after using nearly ... ...children of pre school age as once they reach 5 or 6 they start to brush their own hair more and in my experience they do not get as many tangles or knots.
If you don't find this product useful and still fight with the hair brush every morning, go to the hairdressers and a shorter cut will do the trick. ...

Advantages: NO MORE TANGLES Disadvantages: cant think of any.. perhaps 2 year old likes it a little to much..
...to try a bottle of Johnsons kids detangeling spray and well WHAT A DIFFERENCE.. For starters she just adores spraying it on her hair. secondly it really makes a BIG difference in how much "fight" the tangles put up and only for really large and filterd tangles does it not make light work (and even then you only need to add a bit more to get it workable - is there such a word??) We now sit and read a book while combing her hair and there is no more ...

Advantages: Can use it on both wet and dry hair and smells yummy! Disadvantages: the bottle can be a bit fiddly sometimes when holding toddler, brush, hair bobbles.......
This detangler has transformer my two kids into little angels and me into a cool calm mummy! Mornings are usually a nightmare trying to "persuaed" my three year old daughter to have her hair brushed but she loves this stuff! She loves the brightly coloured bottle and the smell is yummy too. This shampoo is suitable for all ages and is kind and gentle to your skin and scalp. I won't be swapping brands for Kayleigh especially as Johnson's grows with your child, with detanglingspray, shampoo and conditioner for when their hair gets longer.
